On Thursday, a town hall meeting hosted by Al Sharpton and the National Action Network to address gun violence exploded into a revolt against “Chicago Machine” politics, Mayor Rahm Emanuel, and the aldermen in City Hall, with panel and audience members calling to vote out their elected officials. One 82-year-old preacher even called for “Tea Party” style meetings in some of Chicago’s south side communities such as Altgeld Gardens and Trumbull Park.

There are two ballot initiatives getting traction in Chicago. I know I work with one. One us a term limit and the other is anti-gerrymandering. Put those into law....
I watched the video. I am withholding judgement for now. Frankly, until I hear something more concrete, I’m not sure they’re not just pizzed that The Won didn’t pay their rents and put gas in the car for “free”, because that’s been the line for decades, “free stuff for votes”. I’d be pleased to be wrong.
Also, I’d like to hear how violence in the hood isn’t “just” white folks’ fault. Those guns aren’t mind-control devices, how do whites figure into black gangs shooting up the hood? Economics? Then why aren’t trailer parks in Appalachia war zones like that?
I hope they clean house, I hope we all vote to clean house. No more career politicians!

Sounds like an outreach program, we go in mass, bring copies of Hayek, Goldberg's Liberal Fascism, the Constitution, show them our local tea party structure(s), it isn't that hard...
The question begs, when does Sharpton and Jackson buy a place in the Dominican Republic next to Rangel's and retire, they may need to vamanos soon, me thinks the Fat Lady is about to sing....

I think they are tired of being sick and tired, and Da Whon has taken the mask off of the scam of redistribution and programs that get nothing to them and people running them are skimming all the cream off the top. The mask is off because deep down they know the economy didn't get massively better. I talked to an HR - head hunter type last night, I-his-HO it is a regional recovery and the fracking area's are booming and carrying the economy....
