Check the "Social Responsibility" link in my post #22 in this thread. It's not at the same Cracker Barrel values that I recall from the first store over in Wilson County. They've turned their back on their Southern roots...the very roots that made them so successful.
My wife worked directly forthethe number 3 man at Cracker Barrel before we had so many children
he was openly homosexual and now is arguably Nashville’s richest homosexual he is now retired and to his credit was fairly quiet
there were many many new homosexuals employed and they were very clannish
my wife found it awkward even though it was a good place to work money wise and benefits wise
but also had a big push to hire more black management
one of whom relentlessly pursued my wife and any other white gal struck his fancy....many.... even when she was pregnant and showing and when she complained upper management was afraid to touch him....just another illustration
they are just scared they they were saying as a redneck company and all the liberal yankee lawyers were on their ass for a payday
the company was founded by a good man what a wonderful idea I knew how to pursue it sort of a Steve Jobs of restaurants in the south very very relentless but he got old lost control the company and make no mistake it is a very very liberal run into take even if we do like the food and the candles and the toys and the candy it’s a real shame damn liberals ruin about everything
I’m done with them there are other places to eatand as everyone who knows me realize is I am on the road 7 days a week all day like right now I’m on Interstate 40 between lebanon Tennessee and Franklin as usual checking on my businesses
