A feedback rating of 3% or (3)? Either one is not good news.

3% means that only 3% of those who have transactions with him and provided feedback gave him positive feedback. 97% gave him negative feedback.

(3) means that there's no history from which to judge the buyer. He/she has only had three transactions where somebody posted feedback.

The feedback number actually gives you the difference between the number of positives and the number of negatives.

In this case, there are 3 positives, and zero negatives.

The bidder had a 3 bid record. Not unusual for a high-priced unusual item. Kind of like something you might see at a Christie auction.

The buyers feedback is 100%.
