We had an assembly election last Tuesday, and one of my daughters was home from college, so we took her along with to the polls. She had initially registered at home, and then re-registered up at school so she could vote in the 2012 Presidential election. Her twin sister did the same.

For some reason, her twin's name was in the poll book, but hers was not. A poll watcher suggested she look up her info on her phone, and she was listed as being registered up north. She was able to re-register and vote in the election.

The next day, she received a call from city hall that her social security number did not match her current registration. When she called, they determined it was a typo on the registration she completed at school (she said it was a real zoo there with so many students registering to vote). Anyway, I was surprised how on top of things they were.

It's the inner-city precincts where Eric Holder's people vote where it's the wild, wild west.

I’m amazed at how organized your community is. Which county? This is how it is supposed to work, but it certainly doesn’t work that way around here (Ozaukee).
