If anyone gets any relief from their financial burdens because of Barack Obama's latest cynical political move to tinker with Obamacare, I am glad for them.
I am also glad for all the grassroots people and the small group of authentically conservative elected officials like Senator Ted Cruz who have stood up to really oppose Obamacare.
I am not so glad for the business as usual politicians of Washington, the Democrats, the Republicans, Obama, Boehner, McConnell etc. etc. who never really opposed "healthcare reform" to begin with, but used the issue to play to emotions so they could win elections.
And above all, I am not so glad in any way, shape or form with the healthcare and health insurance industries and their lobbyists who bought the politicians to give us this fiasco to begin with.
When they realized the money was going out faster than they could take it in, those folks didn't ask their customers to pay higher prices. I guess they were afraid of the reaction they would get.
So instead they went to the politicians to use the power of government to force everyone to buy their services and to pay higher prices.
One of the first politicians they got on board was Republican Governor Mitt Romney of Massachusetts, who signed off on a plan that forced everyone to buy health insurance at higher prices to benefit the healthcare industry.
Then they got Barack Obama on board to enact his liberal Democrat progressive version of "healthcare reform" to force everyone in the country to buy health insurance at higher prices to benefit the healthcare industry.
And they got the Republican leadership in Congress to take a position that Obamacare should not be stopped, it should be amended to create an interstate mandatory health insurance marketplace instead of an in state mandatory health insurance marketplace.
The GOP plan still gives the healthcare industry the increased cash flow from the pockets of the American people that they wanted all along, still using the power of government to shakedown the citizens.
This "healthcare reform" comes off as just more crony capitalism and business as usual politics no matter which way you cut it.
FOR THE MOMENT IT APPEARS OBAMA HAD MADE HIS LITTLE GAMBIT TO GIVE SOME TEMPORARY RELIEF TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE SO HE CAN WIN THE ELECTION CYCLE NEXT YEAR, DISAPPOINTING THE SPECIAL INTERESTS THAT BOUGHT HIM, BUT HE MAY PLEASE THEM YET WHEN THE POLITICAL TIMING IS RIGHT.
you obviously have a dislike for health insurance (which has always been heavily regulated and never allowed to function across state lines or any other free market concept) and health care in general. Too bad because most of your ideas or the pablum that the Clinton’s tried to push in the early 90s. Do not demonize an industry that was government created and regulated from early on. Health insurance is a direct result of unions demands and business capitulation.
The first purpose of Obamacare was to destroy Private Medical Insurance Industry in the United States of America.
Each time that Barry S. illegally changes his instrument of destruction, (Obamacare), the expense to the Private Insurance Companies go up.
Thus, Barry S. has a perfect ratcheting destruction mechanism to destroy the Insurance Companies, because he knows that for the next two years the RINOs will do NOTHING to stop him.
Hence, as more and more “problems” that Reid and Pelosi have built into Obamacare continue to be “discovered” by the gullible RINOs, the better it is for Obamacre to achieve its first purpose of destruction of the private Medical Insurance Industry.

As Bolsheviks, Pelosi, Reid, Jarrett and Obama see the Insurance Companies as competition for their goal of controlling the flow of money from the buyers of insurance policies.
Hence, the basic Bolshevik desire “To Eliminate the Middle Man,” i.e. the Private Insurance Companies, starting with Medical Insurance Companies.

The second purpose of Obamacare is to complete a Marxist takeover of all Medical Insurance payments, as Marxist Reid brazenly calls it “A Single Payer System.” [ Duh, aren’t ALL Communist Plans a single payor system?]

As more and more Ponzi Schemes are required to continue to buy the votes for Democrat politicians, Bolsheviks Pelosi, Reid, Jarrett and Obama will need to Nationalize even more of the USA Economy.
With currently 40 % of the US Federal Annual Spending dependent on borrowing from strangers, (US Bonds), and 60 % projected to be spent per year within a decade, The Bolsheviks must have Obamcare fail soon so the other industries, such as the Oil and Gas Industry can become Nationalized.
There is a lot of “low-hanging fruit” for the Bolsheviks to pick, because the gullible Congressional RINOs will continue to help “their good friends across the aisle.”

Why bail out companies if your whole plan is to close them down?
My point is that Obama will use our tax dollars to lead Insurance Companies into the Briar patch of Federal Regulation Control (profits) until the margin of sustainable profit is so low that just one flu outbreak will bankrupt all but the Money Printing Presses of the Fed.
Communist must destroy Capitalism to win, and Obama has won every battle so far.
A failed Obamacare is essential to his Bolshevik plans.
Michelle Bachman had the best idea so far.
Republicans stand should be to repeal all Obamacare regulations on insurance companies that are outside of the exchanges.
Then say that the regulated exchanges are an option for the insured and let Americans choose the one they want with their $$$.
Business is not inherently evil, but the politicians and businesses do collude to create win-win situations for them like Karl Rove and the pharma industry did with Medicare Part D.
Rove spoke of “taking an issue away from the Democrats” for W’s 2004 re-election but what really happened also is that the pharmaceutical folks got bailed out of a PR problem (left-wing attacks on their prices) with taxpayer money and the national debt in play to help them.
It helped set the stage for Romneycare and Obamacare and TARP, the Obama 2009 bailout etc.
