we have an older tv......projection tv...we'll be getting a new one in a few months....

what do I get?...some tv's come with an internal Roku yes?...

what about blue ray?....should we get a blu ray players with internet access already built in?....

I understand that bluray can also play dvds...yes?...

I like the local news, sports, fox news...fox business...food channel...hallmark channel...husband likes outdoor channel...dtr would like "Chiller" if its still available...of course fox tv with "justified""

love to get rid of cable but out of the 200 channels, I'd like about 30 that I really, really want....

You are assuming the user has reliable internet access. I’m stuck with satellite internet and a 10 GB per month allocation. I can do 15 GB, but that is another $35 per month.

We have Roku including Netflix and other “channels,” such as Hulu and Youtube.

Unfortunately, Netflix’s selection is limited, and there’s too much trash on Netflix, too, just like cable. I hope another option comes along soon...

We dumped cable and went with the ROKU box some months back. It was tough for the kids to adjust, but Mommy and I are pleased as punch.

No more commercials or programs pitching bankrupt, degraded liberal concepts. No more idiocy that makes me want to put some .40 cal rounds through the TV set. No more $80 a month to the cable company to support 480 channels that I wouldn’t watch if they paid me!
