The Obama administration Thursday night significantly relaxed the rules of the health-care law for millions of consumers whose individual insurance policies have been canceled, saying they could buy bare-bones health plans or entirely avoid the requirement that most Americans have health insurance.
The surprise announcement, four days before the Dec. 23 deadline for people to choose coverage that begins on Jan. 1, triggered an immediate backlash from the health insurance industry and raised new fairness questions about a law intended to promote affordable and comprehensive coverage.

Amazing.
This was done, by the way, AFTER the budget passed--the budget funding the lawless actions of the Clown.
got fascism?
The founders of this Republic NEVER INTENDED for the executive branch or its agencies to CREATE law.
The founders intended for the executive branch to ENFORCE existing law.
The Clown makes up law as time passes to suit the Clown’s fancy.
Democrats could see the tar and feather buckets on the way to Capitol Hill.
This isn’t a law it’s a clusterphuck.

The rules change daily.
Repeal is the only real answer.
Wait! Is that the sound of Republicans objecting to this travesty and threatening to impeach Kind Obeyme? Nah.....
Even while reporting the cluster, the Monica Media is promoting the law.
Easily coulda been part of the deal.
Surprised President Ineffectual is doing anything at all - isn’t he supposed to be in Hawaii, resting up from all his confused and pointless inactivity?
Oh noes...Ted Cruz was right!
If this is true, where now are individuals going to find bare bones health insurance now?
This is obviously a ploy to avoid a 2014 slaughter.
If you like your Democrat, you can keep your Democrat.
What my country has become just makes me sick.
The Kwanzaa pilgrimage begins tomorrow night, after Malaria and Sharia are out of school.
Could Putin get away with this?
What my country has become is making me angry.
Collapse. Ted filibustered and the whole country woke up and paid attention.
We are indebted for his clarion call.
Obama through the Health Care industry stooges under the bus? Imagine my complete lack of surprise.
Bingo.
If their grades are anything at all like Obama’s presidential performance, they’d better familiarize themselves with the working end of a spatula so they can secure gainful employment at Burger King.
You know, I don’t know why every rule change not put in the law isn’t IMMEDIATELY APPEALED to one of the four SCOTUS judges who could then, I suppose, put a temporary halt to the implementation while the question is being considered.
I know there are procedures, but can’t a state AG appeal directly to the SCOTUS if the rule change (i.e. LAW change) affects his/her state detrimentally?
Dictatorship?
I don’t know, I have no answer.
This is the damndest law I have ever heard of.
The President not only signed it, he has changed it time and time again.
He and Sebelius seem to be making it up as they go along.
I suppose SCOTUS could do something, but they already have 4 votes and a black mailed Chief Justice, so I don’ expect much.
