"The real risk is doing nothing."
Absolutely.
I was replying to someone with the jitters - it is a gamble, but less so than doing nothing.
And better still than the awful "Plan B" - which is what we're left with IF we do nothing.

The demographic tsunami being planned for us makes the window of opportunity very narrow. More and more red states will turn blue. You can see it happening already in Nevada, Colorado, Montana, Arizona, and New Mexico. It will only get worse. West Virginia may turn red though, given that RATS are destroying the coal industry. The urban areas like Denver are being overrun by RATS. We have to act now.

I do not support this at all. Constitutional conventions are a disaster waiting to happen.
The original constitution was the result of a "runaway convention" intended to amend the Articles of Confederation. The pols today are much worse as at least the founders fought tyranny.

. Its not a Constitutional Convention. It does not open the whole Constitution up. This is an untruth that is stated by those people that are against it
It is an Amending Convention which must take place under the rubric of the Constitution itself. Meckler just contradicted himself. An Amendment Convention DOES open up the constitution as any Amendment can replace what's previously there.

The actual way to avoid Plan B is to solve the actual problem. Bad people in office.

You need to follow the conversation and listen to what the representatives are saying. There is a lot of effort going into protecting against a runaway mob rule .The next meeting in Indiana will be very definitive.

I know what they are saying, and know what they are intending. I don't discount Levin or

The only way that happens is through one amendment at a time. Limiting to a "subject" or a "purpose" doesn't limit it at all. We're dealing with politicians here.
How are the delegates picked? That's the big problem.
