I do believe all here would agree that this is indicative of the times we live in and that the letigious nature of the worlds population has yet again proven that you cannot protect even your own property and intellectual rights to ANYTHING, anymore...

His remarks didn’t hurt the value of what he sold to a+E (the show) so I doubt they’ll suffer at all.
Not. A&E can't take their (already successful) business from them.
About all they can do is kill the show and (probably) screw the family out of any proceeds from merchandise sales and/or residuals from show re-runs.

The family was very wealthy before A&E knew who they were. Phil has a master’s degree; in fact, Si is the only one in the entire family without a college degree. There is no way they would have signed any TV contract that would or could potentially impact any future Duck/Buck Commander business. Just my opinion, of course.
