I browsed his blog. He had tons of articles about planning his recent wedding. That you MUST do the cake tasting, have lots of mason jars(?), you don’t need to spring for the extra seat covers on the chairs...all sorts of details that I (as a guy) had NO clue about when I got married. (4 pm? got it. Open bar at the reception? Check.)

In one article he thought he might invite one of his readers to the wedding. But to enter the contest one had to send him a photo of one’s butt.(!?)

Never did talk about his fiance being a woman or a man. Odd. I would expect lots of good humor regarding the different viewpoints regarding planning a wedding.

If he had married a gal I would have expected things like “She thought the red napkins were cool, but I preferred the mauve as it provided a subtle and delicate balance to the floral arrangement.”

Yesterday I posted this hilarious review of Sarah Palin's new book about the war on Christmas Good Tidings and Great Joy. The post was picked up by a Tea Party forum "Free Republic" and they were not happy. Apparently I'm "stupid, ignorant, dishonest and basically evil" and also have "the hair of a kewpie doll."

The only part of his 'hilarious review' that's hilarious is ... ... this part.

Thank you. When I wrote that tagline a few months ago, it was during the heat of the "budget" conflict (not truly a budget but the so-called "fiscal cliff"). obama and prominent dems were calling the tea party terrorists, hostage takers, arsonsists, bombers, murderers, etc. Much of the name calling was explict, some implicit, and it's all in the public record. This was a deliberate, coordinated action ominously similar to the way the Nazis slandered the Jews. And we all know how that turned out.
