I browsed his blog. He had tons of articles about planning his recent wedding. That you MUST do the cake tasting, have lots of mason jars(?), you don’t need to spring for the extra seat covers on the chairs...all sorts of details that I (as a guy) had NO clue about when I got married. (4 pm? got it. Open bar at the reception? Check.)

In one article he thought he might invite one of his readers to the wedding. But to enter the contest one had to send him a photo of one’s butt.(!?)

Never did talk about his fiance being a woman or a man. Odd. I would expect lots of good humor regarding the different viewpoints regarding planning a wedding.

If he had married a gal I would have expected things like “She thought the red napkins were cool, but I preferred the mauve as it provided a subtle and delicate balance to the floral arrangement.”

I’m a woman and have no idea WTH he’s rambling on about.

In my experience, guys usually manage one duty in wedding planning.

They remember to show up for the big day.
