Blacks were doing very well in this country up until 1965 or so. Yes, there was prejudice, yes there was injustice, yes there were bad laws -- but blacks had Strong families, good schools, good communities. They had overcome slavery. All that was needed was for the white power structure (Democrats) to stop using the law to keep blacks down.
But the Democrats wouldn't do that. Instead, they created the Great Society. The Democrats destroyed black families, schools and communities.
If blacks are crazy today (and they mostly are) it's because Liberalism is a mental disorder.
My observations as well.

This played in with the Communist goals of destroying the family in America as well. Promoting infidelity and no-fault divorce were other parts of the assault, but more universally felt.
I would ask these people a few pointed questions.
Such as, why didn’t we have all of this violence during the days of legal segregation and discrimination? Why were black families stronger then? Why was the black on white crime rate much lower then? Why was the black on black crime rate lower, for that matter? And while there were youth gangs back then, why didn’t we see all of the drive by shootings then that we see today?
Or are we saying that this “disease” only came about since the civil rights movement gave black people true equal rights? Does that make any sense???
It was better then but it still had issues
Illegitimacy was 20 times that of whites then
crime was higher etc
taking civil rights beyond voting rights did hurt but there was already disparity in behavioral patterns
I can show you data if you like
black culture is in trouble worldwide
having lived in it I will elaborate if you like
i probably can’t change your mind
folks like to believe what they feel comfortable with
I jettisoned that some time ago for empirical observation first hand
I have the distinction most here lack of being from the blackest state and having lived as a grain of salt in a bowl of coffee for most of my adult life till age 40
and I lived during segregation, during the transition time and post segregation...though we still are mostly by choice or cash
I trust my keen eye and stitches in my head
over neat explanations that oddly still hold black performance at the whim of whites and govt
does anyone else here not see that we blame everything for black screwups but them?
first it’s discrimination then it’s govt handouts (can they not refuse it?...I do)
but don’t fear...the dysfunctionality of low latino culture will soon supplant all this and we will deny it’s happening too
Very well stated sir! Merry Christmas!
