A former founding editor for a prominent homosexual magazine is celebrating his recent marriage to his wife, and is addressing the critics who have blasted him for turning his back on the homosexual lifestyle. Michael Glatze says that he left homosexuality six years ago by the prompting of the Lord after working as the editor of Young Gay America for over a decade.
“Knowing no one who I could approach with my questions and my doubts, I turned to God,” he told WND after his conversion. “I’d developed a growing relationship with God..."
Glatze eventually walked away from the magazine as he continued to pursue God, and left a note on his computer that ended with “Homosexuality is death, and I choose life.”
In October of this year, Glatze married his girlfriend Rebekah at an outdoor ceremony in Bluffton, South Carolina.
“I have been married now for a little over a month—and it has been the greatest month of my life thus far!” he wrote. “I am so grateful for Rebekah, for God, for His provision, for my new in-laws, for my family that traveled from far and wide to join in our special day, and for the prayers and support that have flooded our way since October.”
Connect with Christian News Glatze explained that he views homosexuality differently than in his youth and now believes that there is freedom in Christ.
“I do believe that homosexuality is a flaw, a mistake, a distortion and something from which one can be completely restored,” he stated.

I guess the homosexual left's celebrated interest in protecting the freedom to choose one's own lifestyle has its limits.

Homosexuality is in part a learned behavior, and in part a choice. Those who claim they have “no choice” would have to UNLEARN a lot of behavior first, then relearn a whole broad range of appropriate human responses, to sufficiently transform back into a functional heterosexual.
In some ways, such a transformation is rather like a religious conversion, in psychological terms. First the surrender of the id, then the growth of a new superego, to properly address the issues. Then comes the integration of the new concepts, and arrival at the new synthesis of the ego.
Not all such internal conversations are successful. The conflict may be overwhelming to some unprepared minds. Suicides and self-destructive behavior usually removes the disparities. It is just painful to watch, is all.
It is a good story, because God is Good.
(And a whole sermon could be preached supporting his simple "I choose life" note.)
ARREST HIM! It is illegal in NJ and CA to even attempt to turn a homosexual straight!

We all have our own political narrative ... and sometimes that political narrative that we’ve promulgated — does change — and changes for reasons not related to that political narrative.
This is one such instance.

I find especially among the young “tolerant” generation that they really are very intolerant, almost fanatical about their beliefs. They THINK they are tolerant, and then they will essentially banish from their midst anybody who doesn’t toe the line.
It is especially sad or entertaining to watch these “tolerant” folks attack each other over issues like asexuality (”Hey, we’re a thing too, you can’t dismiss us”), gays attacking gays for being bisexual (”they are gay, they just can’t commit”), and the transgender community fiasco (So you are a guy, but decide you identify as a woman. But you feel like a lesbian. Then you fall in love with a female who identifies as a guy, but feels “gay”. Now you are a guy and a girl in love, having normal sexual relations, each being attracted to the sex they are with. The gay community goes ballistic over this, the transgender community feels they are being used, and the whole lot of them are at each other’s throats).
But it is also tragic. There are young men who have “feminine” feelings. In the past, that could cause trouble, unless you were with people tolerant enough to explain to you that “feminine” is not exclusively female, that it is normal for characteristics and emotions to cover a wide range of possibilities.
But now, if you are a guy who feels feminine, the “tolerant” folks browbeat you into accepting that you are “transgender”, which could as well be a made-up thing. Then they “accept” you as you try to change yourself into the stereotype you have adapted. Some of these guys are no more feminine than I am (I am probably more feminine than most guys so that’s not saying much). The seem compelled to put on makeup and wear dresses — while many actual girls do neither. When each new thing doesn’t make them happy, they keep going, with hormone therapy.
Breasts are apparently the key, so they have to develop them, wear fake ones, dress provocatively so people know they have them. “I’m a female now, I have breasts” — even though there are some actual male males who have, through genetics, bigger “breasts” than they do.
But when that still doesn’t make them happy (maybe because they actually DO have a mental issue that could be treated), they decide they need to chop off the offending parts. So they get “converted” into a female. And in 25% of the cases where this has happened, they are still so unhappy, and with no more things to do to “solve” their unhappiness, they kill themselves.
In the past, they could have gotten professional help, just as if they thought they were a dog, or thought monsters were hiding in the closet, or if they had OCD or any of the myriad of known mental conditions that we can fix with therapy/counseling or drugs.
But because of the “tolerant” pansexual movement, you CANNOT get treated for any sexual issues. See, all sexual thoughts are NORMAL, and therefore you must accept whatever feelings you are having as real, in spite of what your real body tells you.
You can be fully accepted only if you go along, and if you even hint at wanting to go back, you then get attacked mercilessly.
It goes beyond sex of course. I find particularly educational the current attacks on Joss Whedon, a far-left atheist who happens to be a talented writer. His “crime” was to say he did not actually like the idea of “feminism”, because he thinks equality is natural. Now his works are being attacked for supposed “misogynist undertones”.
Guess it’s not in the genes, after all...

I mean...just to be sure the garter was placed correctly, of course.
It’s the same way they are with women’s “freedom to choose” that they touted. Now any woman who chooses to be a homemaker is scorned. Some “freedom to choose”, right, when being a wife and mother is not one of the approved “choices”.
