Here in the Queen City of the Patuxent River Drainage Basin, we're basking in a balmy 32 F.
At nightfall, we had a beautiful view of the Full Moon Rising. Depending upon who you rely on, this Full Moon is referred to as the Cold Moon, the Oak Moon, the Yule Moon, and several other kennings.
By the time we got out to buy our Christmas Tree, it had clouded over and as we waited for the tree to be wrapped a gentle snow began to fall.
The boys were with us and it reminded me of the Christmases of my youth.

It’s been a while since we’ve had really clear skies (they brought -6 with them) and the moon is beautiful!
Glad your evening went well and brought you pleasant memories.
