America’s military budget has hit a ceiling.

I do not see any ceiling for China’s budget.

China keeps growing bigger. We need to bring back American industry now.

No one would have pulled this crap with Reagan. But with President Selfie, the country is now the world’s punching bag.

This kind of stuff happened all the time back in the early eighties in the Indian Ocean — except in those days we were harassed by Russian Krivak destroyers.

Like the Russians were then, the Chinese are just keeping up the tension, and probing our reactions. We couldn’t do much then but perform collision avoidance, and I’m thinking we can’t do much more — and likely even less — now.

Excellent name since Walmart has drained from China the real outputs of labor and materials in exchange for... US Dollars!

There is no and cannot ever be a trade deficit. All trade is settled as a part of the trade. Hence the word “trade”. Stop being fooled by all this.

China is in break up mode. Their country is rapidly aging due to Socialist anti-family policies. The old guard is scared stupid over this. Their saber-rattling is proof of it.

What will China get from all this? A more powerfully armed and aggressive South Korea, Japan and perhaps the Phillipines. It will certainly drive more SE Asian countries into our sphere of influence including Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Thailand.

The Chinese aren’t behaving with confidence, but fear. Their domestic situation is such that unless they create an outside enemy their political power will end. China isn’t a rising power, but a waning one.

You are sino-phobic…..like central_planning_va is. Your obsession should be focused on American liberalism, something you can impact. You can’t do a DAMNED THING about China….why don’t you grow up and admit it.

And I was not giving China “credit” as much as I was pointing out that in some ways….SOME WAYS….China’s business environment is freer than ours. This report came out in 2009. CNBC featured it, as did Rush, and some other sources. That’s not crediting China, that’s damning our own country.

Look moron, wanting to curb our own liberalism here at home means I am anti liberalism, not pro China. How is life with an IQ under 80? Really, I’d like to know.

On second thought, don’t tell me.

Speaking of Chickens-—we are now going to accept chicken imports from China.

Like we cannot raise enough American chickens to keep McDonalds supplied.

No America has gone nutso about making everything which used to be made in America, in a massive communist country.

I am not China-phobic.

America is walking in our national sleep, selling China the industry to bury us with.

Wake up. America needs to produce things, right here.

Now.

Per China, I agree.

It won't stave off our collapse, but still.

Notice none of the usual Free Traitors are actually critical of China. Instead they use this as an opportunity to instruct us how much free-er they are in China than the USA. Disgusting isn’t it?

Guns and barrel diameter, I suspect, are not the deciding factor. Some 5 inch projectiles are rocket propelled and can go much further than your typical 5 inch gun.
And the Standard missile has a surface to surface capability: Imagine a ripple of a dozen of those coming at the Chinese Destroyer at Mach 3+.

China isn’t a rising power, but a waning one.

I sense the opposite. Time will tell but then it will be too late IMHO.

Place our bets on what?

How the Cowpens handles its bow ramming the tank-landing ship broadsides?

What do you think would happen to the captain if he decided to ram the Chi-Com ship?

How about we embargo all products coming from China?

Won’t be long and the Chinese products currently being imported won’t be purchased due to lack of American dollars as nobody will be working anyway.

Good pics.. And while we shouldn’t put up with any harassment from the Chinese, I’m a Texan, and I’d probably tease anyone that named their boat “Cowpens” at least a little..........
