Is this Maddows dutiful attempt to change the subject from her presidents sinking popularity? Quick, the countries disappointed with Obama, lets talk about W some more.
+1
While fully acknowledging Bush's faults, Maddow and her ilk spent 8+ years viciously, gleefully, tearing the guy down. Now she's whining that he wasn't able to produce a functional legacy?
To: kobald
Since madow is a plagiarist, are you sure she wrote this?

"Why can't they be happy that's its dying, and celebrate? Or do they need them like the Globetrotters need the Generals?" The worst thing that could happen to the Democrats is that the G.O.P. implodes.
A new party would arise out of the ashes and after it is all said and done lots of so-called Democrats aren't all that excited about they're party either.
Either one of the parties collapsing could destroy the other when a new party forms because there is no stigma in a new party. There is a high probability that people would desert the remaining party just to get away from the status quo.

Bush most assuredly “failed us” but I doubt it’s in the way that this b!+#$ says.
I don’t have time to read it, too busy picking my nose, much more wisdom up there.

There are no insights. You’re as stupid and obtuse as she is. Bush was fighting wars not grooming Sherrod Brown. Good Lord how did FR ever get here.

This coming from Rachel Madcow? Oh, OK! She can be objective.../S
To: Las Vegas Ron
“when the clear pattern is that budget deficits grow under Republicans and shrink under Democrats.”
What an ignorant, irrelevant, ignorant, and stupid sentence. Oh, did I mention ignorant, too? Ignorant.
Contrary to what the lovely but ignorant Rachel says, deficits grow endlessly because Democrats create most entitlement programs — particular the New Deal and Great Society. Once in a while, a dim-bulb RINO will create something like the huge Medicare prescription drug expansion (see George W.Bush). But Democrats create most entitlements (with RINO votes) and Democrats are the fiercest defenders of existing entitlement programs.
Democrats = deficits.

Hey, we were all new once.Yeah! But, I bet we never posted an article by Rachel Madcow!
To: kobald
Maddow :”
If you were putting together a legacy to inspire the next generation of conservatives, you wouldnt pick the Bush administrations trailing ends of land wars, budget deficits, torture, a crusade against gay rights and a financial collapse to rival the Great Depression. “
Crusade against gay rights??
Then how come he had so many gay rights people in his inner circle? Most of the other stuff on list is true.
Maddow will add more entertainment here.
Megyn Kelly is killing her show in ratings.

Well, that is kind of a mean thing to say.
