I’m annoyed that so many Hollywood celebrities hate the system that made them rich.
Actor/comedian Russell Brand told the BBC he wants “a socialist, egalitarian system based on the massive redistribution of wealth.”
Director George Lucas got rich not just from movies but also by selling Star Wars merchandise. Yet he says he believes in democracy but “not capitalist democracy.”
Actor Martin Sheen says, “That’s where the problem lies … It’s corporate America.”
And so on.
On my TV show, actor/author Kevin Sorbo pointed out that such sentiments make little sense coming from entertainers. “It’s a very entrepreneurial business. You have to work very hard to get lucky, mixed with any kind of talent to get a break in this business. I told Clooney, George, you’re worth $100 million — of course you can afford to be a socialist!”
It’s bad enough that celebrities trash the only economic system that makes poor people’s lives better.
What’s worse is that many are hypocrites.

He and his cameraman located Harrison Ford after the actor had himself filmed getting his chest hair waxed.
Ford said the pain of ripping out his chest hair should make us think about the pain the earth feels when trees in a rainforest are cut down. Chest hair, rain forest -- get it? But that environmental message came from a celebrity who owns seven airplanes. Ford once even flew his private jet to get a cheeseburger!

When “they” pony up and give all but, say $100,000, for living expenses, then “they” can talk. Otherwise STFU. Sadly, I forgot that “they” are expected to live a certain way and with a certain style because “they” are “stars”. Can’t do that on a measly 100k/yr.
They are godless, greedy losers and believe THEY are special and smarter and more important than the rest of us; they believe they should keep their money therefore and take from us (which they do every time we see one of their movies) and give to some one else. Notice when they do charity work it’s never/rarely parting with their millions but rather charity concerts, recordings, etc. (Remember, “We are the world, we are the children...”)
The motto of all liberals is “With my guilt and your gelt we can do anything!”
The same should go for any rich libs that support Obamacare -

They feel guilty because they know they get a lot of money for generally crappy work. They just can’t put it that way, so why not make friends with the lib agenda and blame The System of Unfairness.

I'm surprised he doesn't light an oil fire in Kuwait to destroy the evil fossil fuel. He could light it with one million dollar bills and brag the he started the fire with green kindling.
If the rest of us had tens of millions of dollars and only had to go to “work” a few days a year, I suppose it wouldn't bother us if it cost $10 a gallon someday because of some hoax-based carbon tax.
Most of us aren't rich enough to live a greennie lifestyle. Most of us have to work for a living, EVERY DAY!
I believe they are this way because, largely, they are people who find themselves in a situation where they make so much money so easily, they feel guilty.
And thus they try to expunge their guilt by transferring it on the rest of society. They assume that anyone who has money acquired it as easily as they did, and therefore they must help to redistribute it to those less fortunate. But not at the expense of their own lifestyle, of course.
Of course. “We” just don’t know what they do behind the scenes.
Notice that the little girl selling mistletoe is making enough now to pay for her braces and I think I heard that she has enough to pay for some other kids braces as well now. Smart little girl. We need more like her. Plus she’s hired over 2 dozen folks at $9/hr. She better be careful or the obiecare cops (irs) are gonna be taking a closer look at her operation. That would be a REAL lesson.

~All the hypocrite celebs are like the Twilight Zone kid. Only they are about destroying REAL people's lives in order to pretend that they are some kind of “superhero” for saving the Earth from a fake crisis.
But I would not discount the possibility that many of them are just dumb-asses...

I’m an actor who just moved from Los Angeles to the Chicagoland area. I spent 18 years in Los Angeles, and they’re the biggest bunch of phonies you’ve ever seen, much more so than you’ve read about. There’s also more anti-Semitism in that town than I ever imagined, even the Jewish actors, it’s as if thy’re embarrassed to be Jewish, because their gentile friends hate Jews. I’m Catholic and couldn’t believe what I would here them say about Jews.
They hate other actors who are doing well too. If some actor get a big part or a TV role, they’ll go off about how much he sucks. They’ll watch movies just to make fun of their friends who are in it. They’ll tear every scene apart. It’s comical.
But most of all they are hypocrites about socialism. Most are cheap bastards too.
Most don’t have a clue about politics. I saw this gay production assistant on a set wearing a Che Guevara t-shirt and told him how Guevara use to hate gays and would have them executed. The guy said, “I just love what he stood for. Revolution, that’s what we need hear in this country.” I just smiled and walked away.
A lot of Hollywood hypocrites indeed wish that just like Anthony Fremont they could point their finger at any racist sexist bigot homophobe capitalist pig, and turn him into a jack-in-the-box.....a jack-in-the-box that still has his bad face.

It’s not “superhero” status they’re really looking for,
it’s righteousness.
Every human viscerally knows there’s a judgment and an eternity spent in that judgment.
They’re seeking their own righteousness, or at least trying to fool themselves into believing they’re righteous.
So glad you escaped the Left Coast, but sad to see you are in Obummer’s & comrades’ home zone. I wish a similar investigation into the hypocrites in the MSM would be done so that naive audiences (”sheeple”) might open their eyes and see just how bad things REALLY are.

Like so many, I too, have nothing but contempt and disdain for these Hollywood Half-wits. But I gotta say it, some of the fault rests on those of us who treat these actors as if they were demi Gods.
