Im annoyed that so many Hollywood celebrities hate the system that made them rich.
Actor/comedian Russell Brand told the BBC he wants a socialist, egalitarian system based on the massive redistribution of wealth.
Director George Lucas got rich not just from movies but also by selling Star Wars merchandise. Yet he says he believes in democracy but not capitalist democracy.
Actor Martin Sheen says, Thats where the problem lies Its corporate America.
And so on.
On my TV show, actor/author Kevin Sorbo pointed out that such sentiments make little sense coming from entertainers. Its a very entrepreneurial business. You have to work very hard to get lucky, mixed with any kind of talent to get a break in this business. I told Clooney, George, youre worth $100 million of course you can afford to be a socialist!
Its bad enough that celebrities trash the only economic system that makes poor peoples lives better.
Whats worse is that many are hypocrites.

When I lived in CA back in the 80s, I knew a girl who had been to Prince’s orgies. She said he’d choreograph them. I also knew a makeup artist who explained that if you thought it was a cut throat business just try daytime soaps.
Good luck with your career in Chicago! Please never, no matter the great success you achieve, sink to become a Hollywood Halfwit!!
And you must remember, with actors it’s all ego-—an intense need to have a giant ego stroked, constantly to affirm their worth. So, they surround themselves with people who insulate them, tell them what they want to hear, and never say no to them. Fan adoration only reinforces the whole ego deal and in time they begin to believe their own press.
Just wait to the Micky Mouse sequels
*Every human viscerally knows theres a judgment and an eternity spent in that judgment.*
I agree, But I think the celebs just can’t quite put a finger on what it is they want.
Nothing's stopping Russell Brand from giving away his money...
The reality is he probably goes out and hires the best CPA in town to keep his own personal taxes low. Just like the rest of Hollywood's liberal elite blowhards.
ALL of these idiots actually think that THEY are “Average” Americans.
They have NO concept that they are the rich and famous. They have So taken that for granted for so long that they don’t realize what they are saying.
They lie for a business. They pretend to be what they aren't. They live fantasy lives. Need I go on?
