I lived in a third world slum and saw things on a scale not much different than what your relatives endured. Institutionalized persecution is bitch you cannot comprehend. None of us soft Americans can. My mind was literally short-circuiting at what I was seeing every day, the misery, the abuse, the beatings, the killing - all done under the color of law and culture.
I'm giving fair warning what is occurring to us and what our portents are if we do not wake up as a people to what has already happened to us.
Wishful thinking, happy-happy-joy-joy sentiments are not going to change it. Neither will elections from this point out. History is a brutal teacher if one wishes to be honest and understand where we are in relation to the lessons of the past.
If you are offended at the truth of what is being said here - then that is your own problem. Putting your fingers in your ears and shutting your eyes and considering it offensive that someone would dare try and warn this people that what happened 70 years ago is taking shape again right under our noses - is more than illustrative as to WHY we've lost the culture and the country.
Scripture warns us that a people become wicked while thinking themselves righteous will refuse to hear the truth and demand to hear only smooth and easy things. Such people always kill those giving a warning about what is to come if they do not wise up.
As the Proverb tells us, there is nothing new under the sun.
I agree with everything you say except I still don’t like to fault the weak and innocent. The victims in the nazi days were extremely well disarmed. In many senses of the word. Fault them before that happened, is all. Not after they were barely skeletons.
And so glad you rose out of your slums. We need you and everyone else too. That is the whole point of this — to raise people up as Gd intended, to freedom and self reliance and love of each other.
