The journalistic bond between The Post and MSNBC just grew a bit stronger, as the papers opinion section announced that MSNBC host Rachel Maddow will be writing a monthly column. We expect that she will bring to Post readers the strong arguments, sharp wit and thoughtful analysis of political and social issues that have made her show an Emmy Award winner, noted a memo on the move.
In a brief chat, Post Editorial Page Editor Fred Hiatt (the Erik Wemple Blogs boss) said he was really excited about adding Maddow to his roster of columnists. But will anybody read it?
Her TV show ratings are in the tank now that Megyn Kelly file took over that 9pm time slot on FNC
Wash Post is sinking hiring her.
I sure will be looking forward to that column. Once a month eh. Hope it’s not a serial. I can see the first article now. Pancakes and sexual idenity.
Sharp wit? Well, they’re half right.
Pray America is Waking
PMSNBC talking head and self confessed vagitarian, Wretched Madcow, seen here BEFORE her unsuccessful facial reconstructive surgery. She apparently used the same surgeon who performed Chrissie Mathews failed brain implant and treated him for Acute Leg Thrill Syndrome.
I think they’ve maxed out on moving left. They’ve lost a significant amount of subscribers over the past decade. I can’t think of any reason of why I’d read their stuff except for their sports comments on the Redskins. They did a fair job on local events and local crime in DC.
The MSM’s downward spiral continues.
Looks like Jeff Bezos is turning out to be a big lefty after all.
Why would such a manly-man want a wussie name like Rachel?
ComPost and MadCow- perfect together!
Since it’s only a monthly column, that box of crayons they’re providing her with should last a long time!
Fantastic!!! More toilet paper!
What will she call her column? “My Monthly Visitor”?
Just what we need, another mentally ill pundit writing articles.
More ComPost from the heffer...
That would make a great Saturday Night Live skit... except SNL's too PC to attempt it. Their loss.
