Families of victims of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks have become significantly more active in politics over the past 12 years and also more Republican, according to a new study by Yale University. The study appears in the Dec. 9 online Early Edition of the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.

The anti-war, anti-Bush, “Jersey Girls” sure received a lot of attention from the media in the years shortly afterwards. Haven’t heard much from them since Obama was elected.
Let’s think about it for a second. Most of the 3,000+ people who died on 9/11 were at work. By definition you’re not likely to find too many professional malcontents among that class of people.

I’ve wondered why the Boston marathon bombing victim families have been so silent? Knowing that the U.S. government had been warned specifically about Tsarnaev and had done nothing would enrage me. Yet, from anything I’ve seen, it’s all “Oh, that’s o.k.”
