Per the Texas Tribune twitter feed: Republican Party of Texas confirms that @SteveWorks4You will run against @JohnCornyn in the GOP U.S. Senate primary. Story to come. #tx2014
Cornyn is in serious trouble if he runs. His polling is as bad as Linda’s
Bring it!
Don’t know anything about Stockman but anyone is better than Whichever Way the Wind Blows Cornyn.
I don’t know enough about him. Is he one of those Tea Party type??
;)
Stockman is the guy who brought Nugent to Obama’s inaugural and has been one of the leading figures in the ‘impeach Obama’ movement. Guy is solid.
He was in the forefront of the concealed carry movement when Texas got CCW in 1996. He is not afraid to express politically-incorrect positions, much like Ted Cruz.
Seems the diffident Establishment types are about to get their well groomed feathers ruffled
I have always been a stockman fan . This is good news .
Sounds good.
Politico (apparently) confirms: Breaking: Rep. Steve Stockman has filed a primary challenge to Sen. John Cornyn, Texas GOP spokesman confirms http://politi.co/cYo9Kj
This sounds hugh and series
/johnny
does he have a website and facebook page up yet?
Stockman tells the WND folks, yep, it’s so:

bttt
Does this mean that if he loses the primary, he’ll also be out of the house?
BTTT.
I think the voters are on to Cornyn talking conservative and voting Big Government. Also stabbing conservatives in the back in the Senate cloakroom and when he chaired the NRSC.
Time to go back to whatever you were doing before you went to the Dist. of Corruption, Mr. Cornyn.
The lawmaker is risking his place in Congress because running for the Senate means he will have to give up his seat
in the House of Representatives.

It is. Stockman isn’t a nobody. He’s one of Texas’ most prominent House members and has deep roots with conservatives nation-wide. This along with the fact that there are two other candidates already running against Cornyn, means we have a good shot of keeping him under 50%. Then it’s run-off time.
