Television footage showed looters, some on motorcycles, breaking into dozens of supermarkets and shops and stealing goods from food and beverages to flat-screen TVs in events that started late on Tuesday and extended into Wednesday.
The mass looting and vandalism started after thousands of police forces refused to patrol the city streets in demand for higher pay and better working conditions.

If I were the police and on-strike, I would pay rioters to go cause trouble. It’s like the Walmart or McDonald’s situations where the unions pay people who don’t even work there to go protest for the sky-high living minimum wage. It’s the seamy underside of community organizing.

Interesting, when the police are on strike only one person in the city is murdered. I wonder, how many are killed when the police are not on strike?
