FACE THE NATION (CBS): Former Secretary of State James Baker; Randall Robinson, who led the anti-apartheid group TransAfrica; poet Maya Angelou.
THIS WEEK (ABC): Sens. Dick Durbin, D-Ill., and Rob Portman, R-Ohio.
STATE OF THE UNION (CNN): Reps. Michael McCaul, R-Texas, and Adam Schiff, D-Calif.

I’ve seen Florida State play enough to know they are not that good. The ACC is not a strong conference. Jim Bo will come in second.

Hopefully the Buckeyes will play Alabama but the predictors say no, probably Tide v Oregon in Sugar and Ohio State plays Clemson (? - they’ve lost 2 games) in Orange.
Ohio usually gets picked to a BCS bowl because their fans “travel” (butts in seats). It is ALL money.
i was hoping Wallace would of asked that bonehead questions regarding the current doctor shortage and how it will be much more worse if u add 30 million patients into the mix.
What happened to writing out invites and handing them out to the Class at school? My kid went to a Catholic school , two classes of thirty each, Rented out a roller skating rink, invited Moms and siblings..Whole party cost me 3 Hundred and everyone had a blast. It was the “personal” touch Pat, not that long ago! I am the proud Mom of a very kind and respectable 19 year old only child.
Crappy Pizza included. Same thing with Halloween, we had a party at the school.
Not me, but all of us Moms, our kids lived in 7 different towns.
Tell your daughter that she needs to “connect” with the Mommy universe, get outta the car at pickup, volunteer at the school, offer to help out other Moms when you can. This ain’t Rocket Science… no offense intended!
Oldest and onlies have a tougher time and need to be supported by more than a “show” from Mom and Dad.
Love and support your kids, they grow up and go away so quickly. Not trying to be a shrew, honestly. Volunteerism is the key when you have an only child.
You got a nice response from the man at church that felt badly about his response to K’s presence at choir practice.. it takes time and effort.
I truly mean no offense but where do all of the kids hang out when they come home from College? At our house ‘cause we feed them, support them, show up at their games and we let them have fun.
Sorry for my rant Pat… but I forgot the Most Important thing…
I always requested on the invites that people NOT bring gifts and then we had a separate party at home that was family only, combined March b’days etc.
Then the kids got their presents from folks who truly loved them.
Not by a longshot. Blacks make more than Asians? I don’t think so.
