No, but as I understand it, it's not exactly as presented by the 2A organizations, either. New York City has had a 5-round magazine limit that predates New York State's "SAFE" act. Apparently what some of the few NYC licensed firearm owners need to do is prove that they have equipped the firearm with 5-round magazines, and not whatever the licensed firearm may have been listed as being sold with in the first place.
I didn't even know that any firearm magazines were legal in New York City (other than for criminals, LEOs, and "special people", like Donald Trump and Don Imus) -- this letter apparently involves some biathlon rifles and biathetes -- other New Yorkers would be more likely to keep any guns they might own at their country homes.
(BTW, when I looked into this, I found that the NYFD regulations limit a NYC resident to possession to 200 rounds of ammo -- so the New York resident who is an aspiring Olympic biathlete faces a virtual Mt. Everest of different challenges!)

No, and it has already been posted here. It’s for real. It’s understandable you can’t believe it because every day this country somewhere changes for the worst. Tomorrow, it will another something making us less free, and the day after that, another something, etc..
I’ve said before I concentrating on preparing my own country consisting of my house and back garden, as the only country I can depend on. I am President For Life of my country.
