He is the “Innocent Bystander” president. After five years he still behaves like he is on the outside looking in and campaigning for a chance to change things.

Around 1980, I came to work for a year around a Vietnam War vet...former Marine. His method of surviving the war and it’s stresses...marijuana...daily. After the year, he smoked weed at least once or twice a day. It worked to combat PTSD.

A dozen years later, as I’ve come to work around him....I’ve come to notice two interesting things. He’s got lousy short-term memory. You could tell him something at 9AM and by noon....he’s forgotten half of what you told him.

The second thing was long-term memory loss. There were certain thing of boot-camp in the Marines....that were hazy and he just couldn’t fill in the squares. Same with high school.

After this story of the week of the President suddenly remembering his uncle....I paused over the stories of young Barry doing weed daily (sometimes several times a day), and how this went on for a minimum of ten years. Bluntly, he’s got short-memory lapses and it’s now obvious that Ms Jarrett is more than just a gate-keeper....she manages him and reminds him of things. Long-term memory lapses? I’d take a guess that it comes up a dozen times a week now.

How would you manage eight years as President under these conditions? You’d rely on the chief of staff to help manage your life, along with your wife, and just act your way through the whole thing.

It’s best to say....we got a forgetful ex-doper, who does the best he can, and you got three more years of this to go.

It’s the Rush Theorem: If Obama “appears” to be governing-—he would then have to take responsibility for the consequences of his actions-—something he is loathe to do.
