It is the colossal expansion of the “Fourth Branch” that ultimately brought about this Constitutional Crisis. The corruption of the press was a second prerequisite. Imagine in 1970 when there were hints that Nixon “might” use the IRS as a weapon against political enemies. The media went nuts and everyone reacted with shock and horror. Today, the IRS is DELIBERATELY being given unfettered power over the most intimate and personal details of our lives, has virtually unlimited access to information. And yes, it is being used against political enemies.

From the press, barely a whisper. From the masses, nothing but fear. This was not possible a generation ago, because the government wasn’t big enough to do it. Now it is. It has become a slavemaster simply because it can.

So the unconstitutional president is now master of a bureaucratic leviathan, and the press remains silent. The last two pieces of the picture are the emasculation of the Supreme Court and impotence of Congress. I have no doubt that Chief Justice Roberts was blackmailed to changing his vote on the constitutionality of 0bamacare, which has effectively brought the Court to heel and removed it as an obstacle.

The impotency of Congress is self-evident from the corruption and rot that has infested that institution ever since the GOP forgot about its Contract with America. But if there is one key player there, it is Harry Reid. Ever since 0bamacare was passed, he has deliberately thwarted any meaningful legislation in the Senate, causing Congressional paralysis. It’s the excuse for executive rule by fiat, and 0bama openly states that is what he will do. If he can get a fig-leaf rubber stamp from Congress, great. Looks good on paper. But he is perfectly willing to rule by decree if he can’t get the rubber-stamp.

Comrade Turley, welcome to the revolution. You do realize you helped as a willing foot soldier in the march “forward,” don’t you?
