One of President Obama's chief political assets has been his ability to excite young people like almost no politician in history. But the days of America's youth fawning over the president are over.
A new Harvard University Institute of Politics poll released Wednesday confirms what other surveys have shown in recent months: Millennials have soured on Obama so much this year that their opinion of him largely mirrors the American public's.

I'm a millennial and my girlfriend is 24. She's the sweetest thing, but due to years of being indoctrinated in public school and watching the media she describes herself as a liberal. She loves Obama, for no other reason than he is part of the cult of celebrity.
But, lately I have been shooting holes in her perception of the world and her perception of Obama. Recently, I broke down to her how exactly Obamacare would work and how it would strip us of our health insurance, lead to higher premiums and cause the government to make all of our health decisions. At the end of our talk she looked at me and said, "Obama is a f***ing idiot!" If she can stop her love of Obama then many millennials like her will, especially when they have to foot the bill for this monstrosity.

Well, I told her about the Harry Reid exemptions last night, she didn’t know who Harry Reid was because she doesn’t follow politics, but when she found out that he exempted his entire staff from Obamacare, she was pissed. She’s coming around, I’m going to show her some Nancy Pelosi videos next. At least my gf is pro-life and goes to church, I can change her around, she’s a good girl just a little misguided.

This is our fundamental problem in the youth stupidity: getting excited by any politician. Don't they have any personal pride or sense of caution?
