These are bad numbers. Really, really bad.
What is interesting about the Harvard University’s Institute of Politics millennial poll is that it subdivides older millennials (25-29) from younger millenials (18-24). And it’s the latter group that is more predictive and its verdict is wholly negative.
There’s more support among 18-24 year olds for recalling Obama from office, than for recalling their member of Congress or even all members of Congress– at a time when Congressional approval ratings have hit record lows.
Obama’s approval rating among young Americans is just 41 percent, down 11 points from a year ago, and now tracking with all adults. While 55 percent said they voted for Obama in 2012, only 46 percent said they would do so again.
57 percent of millennials disapprove of Obamacare, with 40 percent saying it will worsen their quality of care and a majority believing it will drive up costs. Only 18 percent say Obamacare will improve their care. Among 18-to-29-year-olds currently without health insurance, less than one-third say they’re likely to enroll in the Obamacare exchanges.
Republican and Democratic leaders should find little solace in the results. The survey said that 33 percent of young Americans consider themselves Democrats and 24 percent identify with the GOP. The largest and growing segment is among independents, 41 percent of the total.
Young blacks say they are much less likely to vote in the 2014 midterm election than they were in November 2009, signaling a worrisome level of engagement among a key Democratic constituency.
The Obama Revolution is over.
The Harvard pollsters framed the question as such, "If you could choose to recall ... ?"
It wasn't the respondents fault.
The critical point shown in the article is the TREND away from Obama and the Democrat/communist agenda.
The poll said if you could choose.....
It’s just implying a preference for who they would like to recall if they could. It’s not saying they CAN do so.
No. You’d have to impeach by the House and convict in the Senate in order to remove him.
Gee, 0bama and Congress are lucky that the Constitution has no “recall” in it.
The fact that this survey is based on fantasy makes me doubt its usefulness.
Fox News ashould go 24/7 with increasing stories on how many people want him removed from office
DRIVE the agenda, instead of reacting to their agenda.
They could look at the last 50 years of democrap controlled media for instruction on how to do this
EVERY DAY run a new story on how much he is hated or how many people think he is a liar... poll your own staff or make up numbers (they do it, why can’t we?)
There is no lie too great to remove a liar from office
I heard he instructed his staff to round up stray kittens to serve for dinner in the White House... (you know its true because you are hearing it on THE INTERNET) Obama hates kittens...
Easy way to fix this. Executive order to change the voting age to 25. Who is going to do something about it?
Bret Hume, on FOX News the other night mentioned that it was coming down that he saw coming a run at the phone calls/ballot box then a march/people in the streets.
His reference was that as each day goes by and more people are “touched” by this fiasco then they will ACT.
“When the people fear the government, there is tyranny. When the government fears the people, there is liberty.” Thomas Jefferson
“The secret of freedom lies in educating people, whereas the secret of tyranny is in keeping them ignorant.” Maximilien Robespierre
God, please cure the LIV!
Start the recall or start a revolution.
There is no recall method to remove an elected president. The framer’s of the Constitution provided us with IMPEACHMENT as the method to remove a corrupt executive.
I’m an Independent and have NEVER voted Dem. I am an Independent because the Republicans no longer represent me and I was sick of them taking my vote for granted.
George Bush’s “....see you at the signing” turned me.
Heck my 13 y/o agrees. I Think I’m training her “Right” :-)
You and I must never have met, then. I have always been registered Independent, since 1976, and nearly always end up voting for the Republican candidate. I do not recall ever voting for a Democrat, for any office.
Change has come...finally.
Maybe a discussion room like FR for youth, in view of these results...thoughts?
What is really interesting is that these kids feel this way and for the ones in college, their college loan repayment and the Obamacare sticker shock hasn’t even kicked in yet.
Hey, dorks...PAYBACK'S A BITCH!!!!!
Probably because they believe he's not "progressive" enough.
(The cynical part of me concludes this results from 12 years plus college of liberal/anti-conservative indoctrination.)
Obama and his cronies are not letting on how surprising the reaction is to their plan. Their biggest problem they knew from the get-go was if they lost the adoring masses glomming onto Obamacare like rats following the Pied Piper.
And it ain't happening. Now what do they do now that numerous serious flaws have been detected and it is not even through the implementation phase yet?
No, the rats are panicked, but they can't let on.
We have a winner, no more calls .....
46% of 55% gives us a 25.30% of mental retardation in US voters.
I did that without a government grant.
