South Floridians looking for some holiday help are lining up for the chance to get their hands on a voucher that will guarantee them a basket full of food...
Voucher distribution will begin Wednesday at 8 a.m. and will be given to the first 3,000 people in line. Recipients will then return on Dec. 18 for the food distribution. Only one ticket per household will be given.
It's a tradition for many here, just like Black Friday shopping is for others. "I've been here since Saturday, Saturday in the morning," said one resident. "From Saturday in the morning with my little puppy."

The video shows a woman who has come for the free food since she was SIX YEARS OLD. And Obama and his enablers (some Republicans included) want to grant amnesty....which will exacerbate this "tradition".
Why do I tie this to amnesty? Look:

I used to drive by the Methodist Charity Food bank on the way to work every day and ate around the area at lunch time.
You’d see dozens of nice cars parked out side each day and some illegal or other ‘customer’ go in and get their take every week (at least a couple of grocery bags full). The food they get there allows them to use their EBT money for other things.
Republicans want it as much as dems, albeit for different reasons.
When I moved out after HS, was single and living with room mates I went to the food bank a few times during some rough patches. I never saw anyone that I thought wasn’t deserving, but I can see how it could be abused.
Getting Free food is almost like work.
The ones that largely do this are professional entitlement leeches. It becomes part of their entitlement quest routine.
There is nothing wrong with a family or even single person down on his/her luck using these places of charity. But they have been subsumed by the masses of sloths that make their livings doing absolutely nothing.
Illegals are EXPERTS at milking the system for all that it’s worth
Standing in line? They stand in line all the time and it doesn’t cost anything but time. They have plenty of that.
Who knows? Some dipsh!t liberal reporter might even come along and put them on TV so they can tell all their frens.
Of course, if she had just worked at a job for four days instead of waiting in line for four days for a voucher, she would have more money.
Isn't that nice----they took time out from poring over their holdings pocketed from riding the US gravy train under multiple identities:
UI, SSI, Workmen's Comp,
TANF (temporary assistance to needy families),
WICS (food assistance),
subsidized Section 8 shelter,
ObamaPhone subsidies,
Utility Assistance subsidies,
School breakfasts/lunches/snacks subsidies,
$5000 a year EITC checks per identity,
monthly "asylum" checks from SS ....
All of that collected several times over using multiple several identities.
Plus there's the hefty bundles of US cash---from stiffing US banks for fraudulent sub-prime mtges (which we taxpayers had to bailout).

Once the “safety net” became so entrenched, I don’t see why anyone would ever give to a food pantry (or practically any other charity). Our poor people have an obesity and diabetes epidemic; they don’t need more food.
Stealing IDs off the Internet has become easier than swiping candy from a convenience store. Consider the case of Rodney St. Fleur, who was recently charged with taking the names of 26,000 people from public databases, including prison inmates. He obtained their Social Security numbers through online LexisNexis research services at his employer’s law office in North Miami Beach, according to a search warrant.
Authorities say some of St. Fleur’s information ended up in the hands of Frantz Pierre, a one-time North Miami gang member who was arrested at his seven-bedroom Parkland home last week. Pierre is accused of heading a ring that collected nearly $2 million in fraudulent federal tax refunds on more than 300 pre-paid debit cards in 2010.

WASHINGTON—The IRS Service may have delivered more than $5 billion in refund checks to identity thieves who filed fraudulent tax returns for 2011, Treasury Dept investigators said Thursday. They estimate another $21 billion could make its way to ID thieves' pockets over the next five years.
The IRS is detecting far fewer fraudulent tax refund claims than actually occur, according to a government audit that warned the widespread problem could undermine public trust in the U.S. tax system.
Although the IRS detected about 940,000 fraudulent returns for last year claiming $6.5 billion in refunds, there were potentially another 1.5 million undetected cases of thieves seeking refunds after assuming the identity of a dead person, child or someone else who normally wouldn't file a tax return.
In one example, investigators found a single address in Lansing, Mich., that was used to file 2,137 separate tax returns. The IRS issued more than $3.3 million in refunds to that address. Three addresses in Florida, the epicenter of the identity theft crisis, filed more than 500 returns totaling more than $1 million in refunds for each address.
In another troubling scenario, hundreds of refunds were deposited into the same bank account—a red flag for investigators searching for ID thieves who may be filing for refunds for multiple people. REFERENCE March 8, 2012 KENNER, La. -- Kenner police arrested illegal Marvin Baca who sold false W-2 forms to another illegal immigrant for $1,500. Baca sold fraudulent W-2 forms for $1,500 to other Hispanics here illegally.
Police said that on one of the forged W-2 forms had a SS no of a person living in Virginia. Police said illegal Hispanics purchase fictitious W-2 forms and file false tax returns with the government to receive EITC refunds. Baca was charged with one count of ID theft and two counts of forgery.
I used to give to charities, even the FOP, Sheriff’s Association, food banks, disease foundations, etc.
Now when I get a call and they spiel into their “I’m so and so from the Red Cross (insert charity here)......”
I cut them off and say “I’m sorry, I don’t give to charity any more because I can’t afford it. Go ask Obama for it.” and then I hang up.
You should see the coverage....people are PROUD of walking around with their hands out for 20 years or more....
Many of those folks could stand to miss a few meals.

This is not intended as a form of foreign aid.” As an example, US taxpayers spent $522.7 million on foreign aid to the Caribbean last fiscal year, govt data show.

Once the left marginalized the WASPs, this was inevitable. The same people (perpetual parasites) would be indignant if you expressed any reservations about their lifestyles - the entitlement mentality has removed pride/shame from the equation.
