(CNSNews.com) - At a House Judiciary Committee hearing on Tuesday, Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-Ill.) said that President Barack Obama should be expanding his prosecutorial discretion when it comes to enforcement of immigration laws.
Unfortunately, he should not be limiting his prosecutorial discretion. He should be expanding his prosecutorial discretion, Gutierrez said during a hearing on the constitutionality and legality of actions the Obama administration has taken on issues like the enforcement of immigration laws.
The president signed a memo calling for deferred action for certain young illegal aliens who came into the country as children and have pursued education or military service in the United States. The presidents policy is referred to as Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), and the children who are covered under DACA are known as DREAMers. The Department of Homeland Security began implementing DACA on Aug. 15, 2012.
Gutierrez admitted that three Dreamers are working in his congressional office. Another Dreamer, who worked as a congressional aide for Rep. Kyrsten Sinema (D-Ariz.), quit her job to fight for her mother, who is facing deportation, he said.
Gutierrez praised the presidents decision to not to enforce the immigration laws for some children of illegal immigrants, saying that if one of them was dangerous or caused harm, Republicans would hold that person up as an example of how the DACA does not work.
Obama set children aside and said Im no longer going to prosecute them, because they do not present an eminent threat, and guess what Mr. Chairman, a year and a half later, 500,000 of them are walking around, and I assure you if you could find one and bring them up here that shows how hes caused some danger or some harm, that person would have already have come. But the fact is that theyre not, he said.
Look, theyre American citizens in everything but a piece of paper, Gutierrez said.
Wow, the evil that walks the halls of Washington would make the founders puke. They would be screaming for a new revolution.
You’re absolutely right...The founders fought against tyrants like 0bama and Gutierrez for freedom and the right to live by the rule of law.
Look, theyre American citizens in everything but a piece of paper, Gutierrez said.
I’m a millionaire so what I don’t have the actual money to prove it!
Obama is no longer a lawyer, you twit.
He has three ‘dreamers’ aka illegals working in his office. I guess he couldn’t find any natural born citizens for the job!
Besides the fact that he sounds really, really ignorant! Only Shelia Jackson Lee topped him in that department today.
Yep, it says a lot about a congresscritter when they won’t even hire citizens to work or intern for them.
I believe that could be classified as “aiding and abetting.”
Translation: “ The law is whatever comes out of our mouths` “

Thanks jazusamo. The problem is DACA *does* work, and was designed to help foreign criminals destroy the United States. We need to repeal it, build the border fence (triple barrier, electronic frontier including listening for tunneling), and then do outreach into Mexico, to encourage secession of the border states, and arming citizens of those states to exterminate the drug gangsters.
By exterminate I mean, to kill every last one of them. But I mean that in the nicest possible way, so, kumbaya.
The path to citizenship needs to begin in foreign countries, in the form of classes in our embassies abroad. Candidates for immigration need to be vetted and educated before they can even apply for entry.
Nice link!
Sharia anyone? LOL (the things ya see when ain't driving yer D8) LOL
Sharia and sharia alike.
Thanks. We aim to misbehave :).
Isn't that still the pathway that legal immigrants follow? Or is it the pathway that legal immigrants used to follow?
GUTIERREZ HAS BIG PLANS---TO HIM, AMNESTY IS ONLY THE BEGINNING: "Once Congress approves an immigration increase, minorities should demand more, said Gutierrez, a leading advocate of the giveaway Senate bill.
The next day after we pass it, you know were not going to be satisfied, were going to come back, he said. Were going to have a civil rights act, were going to have a voting rights act Nobody is leaving this fight once we conclude this first chapter, he said. "Hopefully, in 30 years, [we] can bring immigrants from all over the world, Gutierrez said.
This planned conquest speaks loudly of Gutierrez's nefarious political ambitions---organizing the Third World into competing pressure groups, voting blocs, and para-military groups----conniving to (1) undermine US ntl security, takeover the SW, and, (2) rape the US Treasury.
===================================================
TAXPAYERS DEMAND AN IMMEDIATE THOROUGH INVESTIGATION OF GUTTIEREZ. US citizens demand need to know answers WRT an individual w/ nefarious designs on our government.

DID GUTIERREZ USE HIS CONGRESSIONAL OFFICE TO HELP ILLEGALS OBTAIN FRAUDULENT MORTGAGES? MORTGAGES THAT DEVSTATED THE US ECONOMY? THAT US TAXPAYERS WERE FORCED TO BAILOUT?
UI, SSI, Workmen's Comp,
TANF (temporary assistance to needy families),
WICS (food assistance),
subsidized Section 8 shelter,
ObamaPhone subsidies,
Utility Assistance subsidies,
School breakfasts/lunches/snacks subsidies,
$5000 a year EITC checks per identity,
monthly "asylum" checks from SS ....
All of that collected several times over using multiple several identities. Plus there's the hefty bundles of US cash---from stiffing US banks for fraudulent sub-prime mtges (which we taxpayers had to bailout).

Thanks Liz for the ping. On this matter am speechless because I would go on a rant (a huge rant) and would probably wind up banned because of my words. Yes, Liz, the divide has been crossed and am looking at millions with millions more on the way; Should there not be a miracle am of the belief we shall soon be overrun.
