The House Judiciary Committee is about to discuss what it calls The Presidents Constitutional Duty to Faithfully Execute the Laws, focusing on the Obamacare delays, enforcement of immigration laws, and more. As Mediaite notes, the question of whether the president can take unilateral action to cease enforcing laws stretches back at least to last summer, when President Barack Obama said he would stop deporting young undocumented immigrants, an end-run around congressional refusal to pass the DREAM Act.

Violations of US Constitution File for the 2014 Impeachment of arrogant Communist B. Hussein Obama, also known as Barry Soetoro, a legal citizen of the Sovereign Nation of Indonesia.
Impeachment belongs to the House. Removal belongs to the Senate.
Just so. Obama and Holder publicly declared that they refused to enforce DOMA. And the GOP did—nothing.
Then immigration. Then Obamacare.
And probably dozens of smaller laws that he didn’t like.
So far all that has ever happened since Obamalamadingdong was elected.
DOMA
And still the GOP does nothing, and Mitch McConnell attacks the Tea party.
The part about this which mostly burns my butt is that when the Dems had a FAKE, NON-OFFICIAL hearing with Sandy HOE last year, it was all aflutter on the news!
If there is news coverage of this hearing, it will either be very light and in-passing or, more likely, covered with disdain and in a negative light stating that the Reps are just “grand-standing!”
Truthfully, the MSM are more dangerous to America than Obama! And their actions are what will lead to CW2, because when people FINALLY hear the truth, the MSM will report it, and act like they had no clue!
The MSM are the ones causing, leading and rejoicing in the divisiveness in American society right now!
Technically, SCOTUS and Judge Gonzales did that, but we know who was behind it. That was June 9, 2009.
Then two days later on June 11, 2009, Obama illegally fired IG Gerald Walpin.
The thing that will keep it from being kabuki is if the vast majority of the public wants impeachment. If so, it might happen.
It's got to be the people who steer it that way because if it is perceived as purely political it could lead to civil war.
As far as the Senate...if there is overwhelming demand from the public Reid would have to act. However, keep in mind that the Senate could go GOP in less than a year making the possibility of impeachment that much greater.
In the haste to hack together the mess called Obamacare, the bill omitted the customary severability clause. The entire bill is invalid if ANY part of the bill is invalid.
Not necessarily. The public will for action is not there presently, but if the public becomes convinced that Obama needs to be booted, then impeachment becomes a stronger possibility.
I think this is possible.
