Bob Shlora of Alpharetta, Ga., was supposed to be a belated Obamacare success story. After weeks of trying, the 61-year-old told ABC News he fully enrolled in a new health insurance plan through the federal marketplace over the weekend, and received a Humana policy ID number to prove it.
But two days later, his insurer has no record of the transaction, Shlora said, even though his account on the government website indicates that he has a plan.
I feel like this: My application was taken by a bureaucrat, it was put on a conveyor belt and its still going around, and its never going to leave the building, he said. Ive lost hope. If it happens, great.
Obama administration officials acknowledged today that some of the roughly 126,000 Americans who completed the torturous online enrollment process in October and November might not be officially signed up with their selected issuer, even if the website has told them they are....

No wonder it’s running smoother. It’s skipping the important parts...
Nigerian, Kenyan, whatever....
Yeah, a cargo ship would travel much faster with no cargo...
Does the insurance company bill you or just debit your account?
As expected, they fixed the front end that everyone can see, but the back end which must communicate with other systems is still not working, or even written yet.

It's the socialist way.
OK, this Obama lover has just been mugged. Now, does he have enough brain cells to realize he has been mugged and change his allegiance? Probably not or he wouldn’t be an Obama lover to begin with.
I have never looked at the site...never will. I do not want to get a headache, or have my computer infected by some Obumbo virus. Anyway, I am immune to Obamacare.
Knit-picking.
The important thing is they are now ‘covered’ and the insurance companies can no longer take that away.
Thanks to Obamacare.
Deemed covered?
The real culprit is that Obamacare does nothing, ZERO, nada to reduce cost. Actually it increases every one's out of pocket expenses with policies that cover totally unnecessary stuff. I got a huge sticker shock when I explored their web-site yesterday.
Let the web-site operate smoothly soon. Only then every one will realize they are screwed. My employer raised our health insurance by 20% for 2014 over 2013 rates. But my out of pocket expenses stayed the same. So there is a big dent in my discretionary spending.
Thank goodness this doesn’t effect me in any way, but I hope it doesn’t goof up my wife’s plan.
This administration is fond of fantasies whether it be dealing with Iran or “reforming” heath care. Serious people however confront reality and do not tolerate delusions,
Does the insurance company bill you or just debit your account?
They haven’t gotten to that part, yet.
Argyle? Cable stitch?
Mission accomplished!
