Bob Shlora of Alpharetta, Ga., was supposed to be a belated Obamacare success story. After weeks of trying, the 61-year-old told ABC News he fully enrolled in a new health insurance plan through the federal marketplace over the weekend, and received a Humana policy ID number to prove it.
But two days later, his insurer has no record of the transaction, Shlora said, even though his account on the government website indicates that he has a plan.
I feel like this: My application was taken by a bureaucrat, it was put on a conveyor belt and its still going around, and its never going to leave the building, he said. Ive lost hope. If it happens, great.
Obama administration officials acknowledged today that some of the roughly 126,000 Americans who completed the torturous online enrollment process in October and November might not be officially signed up with their selected issuer, even if the website has told them they are....

The widow is presented with a hospital bill in excess of $800,000 after she learns that the back office of the Obamacare program had miscommunicated with the insurance company had falsely advised the farmer and his widow that they had health insurance when in fact they had none.
It turns out of the hospital in the course of the next 90 days finds that it is under a pile of such cases amounting to millions of dollars in unpaid hospital services and they want to sue the widow and and take her farm. The widow turns to the government insurance plan and gets no help, in fact, she is dunned by the IRS for failure to have insurance as required by the Obamacare statute.
Scenarios similar to this are replicated in the tens of thousands during the days weeks and months immediately succeeding January 1, 2014.
Wouldn’t the Democratic Party cease to exist as a viable organization by say, oh, I don’t know, April 15th of 2014 if that scenario were to play out somewhat as you describe it? Or am I still living in the 20th Century?

No! The obamamedia will report this as the capitalist greed of hospitals and doctors for failing to accept Medicare payment of $279.00 under the beneficence of our most gracious leader. And, the drunken alien must be forgiven as he was oppressed and exploited by the farmer.
Unfortunately for Bob, he can expect an audit letter from the IRS soon. It appears from the number of detractors that have made their obamascare headaches public that the IRS is making good use of the 40,000 new agents assigned to police the wuns wonder project, ja wohl.
They're too busy recording applicants’ Social Security numbers and personal info then emailing it to identity theft racketeers.
How soon does Dear Reader simply decree that all applications are deemed approved and all doctors and hospitals are to accept such applications as fact and after a few protests, CEOs and other patients who fail to bend the knee are suddenly subject to the gentle ministrations of the IRS or a middle of the night raid?
Many folks have seen the ad for SAP at airports and also on TV in conjunction with the golf tournement they sponsor. SAP is one of the choices that Tier 1 corporations use to tie their supply, sales and human resouces functionality together. In the latest version there are over 100,000 individual transaction codes and over 300,000 individual tables. Does anyone really think that a bunch of hacks hired by the government because their leader was a classmate of moo shell could build something like this to support obamacare? When completed the Army logistics system which is transistioning to SAP will have over 150,000 users and is one of the biggest instances in the world.
Why on earth would anyone willingly give over all ther vital and finanial information to hackers and scammers? You have a poorly functioning website. It stands to reason that a poorly designed website is going to have zero effective security. Identity theft and all its related shenanigans will be the next major economic bubble, I think. Will news of such scamming be suppressed now by the government and its MSM? IS it being suppressed?
And maybe throw in a girl from Ghana just for kickers.
I am on Medicare and have been affected deleteriously by kenyacare. My United Healthcare Medicare Replacement has cut off ALL the local doctors and hospitals. I have been trying to change to another system but cannot get any responses from other companies. They tell me all sorts of things on the phone but the paperwork never comes. My time to change for 2014 , of course, runs out this week so I am stuck with essentially no insurance including no accessible Medicare which I still have to pay for. So my Part B payment is essentially just another income tax on my SS.
And if these people fall ill or are injured and have no coverage, who is to blame?
Can you imagine the American people's reaction if it just debited their checking accounts? They might finally do something about it. But probably not.
Have you ever had a dream, Neo, that you were registered for Obamacare?
40% increase in costs, for 3% increase in who is covered. And those are just the introductory rates.
Wouldn’t it by cheaper to just make a web page to fill in their name and print themselves a certificate of participation? They can even contract with a Kinkos for those without printers.
Write your Senators and Congressperson - repeatedly. Call them as well. Call your local radio, newspaper, and TV stations as well. Get your story out there.
Actually a website to sign up for single payer would have been much simpler than to have one to handle all these different states and insurance companies.
Progressives must be pretty frustrated that their Dem leaders abandoned the idea, couldnt get it through Senate.
