Our family is very proud and excited about our son's early decision acceptance to Hillsdale College to attend in the fall of next year. He's also earned a nice academic merit scholarship that we desperately need. We'll figure out how to pay for the rest of it.
Couldn't be prouder or more hopeful about his future.

Congratulations! Now...the work starts. :-)

Congrats. Every student that enrolls in Hillsdale is a victory for our entire country!

Good for your son! There is hope for this world!
To: Damifino
Congratulations! He is attending an outstanding college.
BTW, I really enjoy listening to the fine educational podcasts Hillsdale puts out (The Constitution, Economics, The Bible, etc)

Whoa...a TRIPLE negative left my head spinning. I think you like Hillsdale, right?
To: Damifino
Thank you to all who replied and are so supportive. You are a very special group. Thank you again.

You are correct! I was trying to give Rush credit for calling my attention to the school. From listening to Rush, I know that this young man will be learning the truth about this great country rather than the liberal propaganda that is taught at most universities.

A course in diversity? Was it a requirement?

Congrats! We have friends who have a daughter about to graduate from Hillsdale. She's loved every minute of it! Her parents have, too! They go up (from Houston area) as often as they can.
We support their scholarship fundraisers. Congrats on the merit scholarship, too. (I know that's helped us with expenses for our college student.)

Daughter graduated from Hillsdale a few years ago. She received an excellent education, and made lasting friendships with both fellow students and faculty. Your son has reason to be justifiably proud. As for finances, Hillsdale has its own student loan fund, comparable to sallie mae but independent of the government.
Congratulations.
To: Damifino
As a Hillsdale alum, I congratulate you!

Congratulations! Isn’t it great to know your son will get an education instead of a liberal indoctrination? We will need these students to become leaders as they will be taught critical thinking skills that are absent in our government today. Kudos for the scholarship also. Tell your son great job and good luck!
