We’re serious about “immigration reform” as well: start supporting ICE and specifically the BP and control our southwestern border, and deport every single alien illegally squatting in our country.
That would be a good start.
Then change our leaders, like soiled diapers ....

If reform meant; requiring applicants to posses high technical or professional skills, serve in the US military, have a citizen sponsor, and a decent command of the English Language...I'd be all over it.

But that's not what it means...is it.

Not only is immigration not found in the Constitution, but consider the following. Thomas Jefferson had clarified, in terms of the 10th Amendment nonetheless, that the states have never delegated to Congress, via the Constitution, the speciific power to regulate immigration.
"4. _Resolved_, That alien friends are under the jurisdiction and protection of the laws of the State wherein they are: that no power over them has been delegated to the United States, nor prohibited to the individual States, distinct from their power over citizens. And it being true as a general principle, and one of the amendments to the Constitution having also declared, that "the powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people," the act of the Congress of the United States, passed on the -- day of July, 1798, intituled "An Act concerning aliens," which assumes powers over alien friends, not delegated by the Constitution, is not law, but is altogether void, and of no force." --Thomas Jefferson, Draft of the Kentucky Resolutions - October 1798.

So RINO Boehner's first step to federal immigration reform is actually the following. He needs to lead Congress to petition the states for an amendment to the Constitution which, if the states chose to ratify such an amendment, would grant Congress the specific power that it needs to be able to regulate immration in the first place.

The word “sincere” means nothing to bonehead...unless it is a new brand of liquor.

He is the toilet into which the Obamadork takes his bodacious Obamas.

If Boehner really wants something done, he’d work on securing the border. He knows that is the pre-requisite. Then, we’ll talk.

I think Boehner likes being called Mr. Speaker and will say most anything that will get him a softball presser.
He still doesn’t understand that he can’t be a squish for ever.
