Yeah, it’s a shame that she won’t be recalled and replaced ith a Republican sometime in the spring of 2014; but see post #30, which clarifies that the replacement RAT would face a special election in November 2014 for the rest of the term, which ends in January 2017. So the resignation buys the RATs maybe 6 months, and it will ensure that conservatives and pro-gun voters are motivated to go to the polls in November 2014 to vote out several vulnerable RAT Senators (half the Senate is up) and up to a dozen vulnerable RAT Representatives (all are up, and a pickup of 5 will give the GOP the Senate).
