It appears that this creature is a 62 year old native of New York City: is a former schoolteacher; was elected to the senate in 2008; and despite being the incumbent only won her 2012 election by 584 votes.

No word on how many of her voters were actually alive.

I believe that the real story is that if she quits a New Senator is appointed and a Democrat POS even worse than her can be appointed, whereby if they recalled her they would face an election and a Republican would win.

After seeing her picture I agree with her, She does not need a gun to prevent rape. Anybody that could rape her is into some really sick sex.

"By resigning I am protecting these important new laws for the good of Colorado and ensuring that we can continue looking forward," Hudak wrote in her resignation letter in regard to her gun votes, which led to the recall effort.

Those laws will be eventually be repealed. Colorado won't let them stand as the pressure to repeal will be constant.

Hudak was up for election in 2016 if not for the recall effort, but now the election will take place for her Dem appointed successor in 2014.
