I like the part of her being pressured to resign to protect the Democrats fragile majority in the state. For one, the Statists are eating their own, which always results in some interesting fallout; For two, it shows that they know the laws are unpopular and will probably face eventual repeal.
It would have been better if she had stayed in the ring to get knocked out in the recall election, as would have probably happened, but still... enough of a win.
