PPP: US Senate IL: Dick Durbin (D) 51% - Jim Oberweis (R) 36%
It looks like Will Lindsay didn’t qualify for SOS, leaving Webster as the only candidate.
And Black Republican Michael Scott Carter didn’t qualify for Treasurer, leaving Grogran versus combiner Cross, mano e mano.
And Chad Koppie didn’t qualify for Senate. Leaving Uberloser, Truax, trucker driver William Lee and one Armen Alvarez, some lady off the street with no website, only a facebook page.

I almost worked for Michael Carter’s campaign. I met him on July 3, and we agreed that I’d recruit volunteers and arrange interviews. Later, that day, I emailed him and suggested a salary. He said that he couldn’t afford to pay me. He asked me to do a lot of campaign work, and he said that he’d pay me, if and when he can afford to do so. I said that I won’t do that. I asked him to contact me, when he can promise a salary. After that, I didn’t hear from him.
Armen Alvarez is pro-tax cuts, pro-spending cuts, pro-life, pro-gun, and anti-gay marriage. In the U.S. Senate primary, I’ll vote for Sen. Oberweis. I know that he has many conservative views, since I’ve known him for almost 12 years. He’s the only Republican, in that race, who has held an elected office.
Unless I see POR (proof of RINO) on Truax I lean heavily toward him over Oberloser.
More
Libertarian Julie Fox apparently didn’t make it for Comptroller, she’s not listed. Leaving Judy and Sheila.
Fox’s, Carter’s, Will Lindsay’s and Koppie’s websites are all still active.
We have a 5th candidate for Governor. Non-entity Peter Edward Jones, who does not have an LT running mate.
I agree with the posters there that he probably will be thrown off the ballot.
GOP Congressional filings, all per the state election website. Campaign sites listed if I can find them.

Down with Davis and Kinzinger.
Any thoughts on the CD-8 and CD-11 primaries?
Libertarians didn’t file because new parties can’t file until June.
In the 11th Congressional Dist., I endorse Chris Balkema. I think that he’s the most conservative candidate, in that race, and I got petition signatures for him.
There are warning signs like his prior support for cap and trade.
Lipinski(D) and Hastert were more conservative on immigration than Kirk.
He’s squishy because he thinks that’s how a moderate should vote.
Maybe Kinzinger could give up his seat to a conservative and run for senate against Kirk.
I think Joe Walsh would be a good candidate and even has some support of Club for Growth and other groups. But he would have to give up his radio show.
