You didn't follow my argument. What if Obama or one of his highest-level appointees is found to be a user? What if one of those who support the insane policies that are destroying the US is a user? I'd much rather have the precedent that the 'pub druggie was forced out of office than for them to have the precedent we let him stay.

Besides that, I don't believe that druggies are capable of the degree of rational thought or making the correct decisions based on what's best for the nation if they've been willing to compromise their authority.

This guy has been found guilty of a misdemeanor, admitted his problem, vowed to get clean, and that is more than almost any drug addled liberal politico in the last 35 years.

If the guy doesn’t clean up, his constituents can fire him. The administrators of the party are there to support the VOTERS’ choice, not DETERMINE the voters’ choice.
