‘I’m Not a Particularly Ideological Person’: Obama Chats about Himself at Fundraiser, Calls

SEATTLE (AP) — President Barack Obama offered a rare self-assessment Sunday night while criticizing congressional Republicans as an “impediment” to governing during the start of a West Coast fundraising tour for the Democratic Party.

He also attempted to contrast himself with Republicans who control the House of Representatives, saying they are “more focused on positioning themselves for the next election.”

“I’m not a particularly ideological person,” Obama said, somewhat echoing a statement he made earlier this month during a speech campaigning for then-candidate for Virginia governor, Terry McAuliffe (“There are very real consequences when you operate ideologically, the way some of these folks do,” he said Nov. 3, pointing to the Tea Party).

Obama added Sunday that while he’s still passionate about giving people a fair shake, about the environment, and working for peace and national security, he’s also “pretty pragmatic about how we get there.”

Money, star power and Hollywood awaited the president on this trip, which featured a bit of official business, but mostly fundraising for a Democratic Party eager to go on offense after a politically debilitating two months.

“I am sicken that this puke is fund raising right now a few miles from my house.”

Hi neighbor! I live on the Eastside, too (though a bit further than you from where Obummer is).

I wish this lying poor excuse for a POTUS would stay out of our area and state! This is his upteenth fund raising trip here. Apparently people in San Fran are tired of hearing his lies and/or seeing him- - I read that they weren’t selling many tickets, so they had to reduce the ticket cost to 1/2 price (now $500) for his San Fran fundraiser this week.

Says the guy appearing at fundraisers while his namesake legacy program is eliminating people's medical coverage, financial stability and jobs.

U.S. Pulls Embassy Out of the Vatican
Excerpt
The move is not sitting well with conservative Catholics who prefer to maintain diplomatic distance from United States policy on issues in direct defiance with Catholic teachings, including same-sex marriage and abortion. Vatican expert John Allen, who first broke the news of the downsize this week in his column in the National Catholic Reporter, quotes a former American ambassador to the Holy See calling the move “a massive downgrade.” James Nicholson, who held the post from 2001 to 2005, told Allen that the move is essentially “turning this embassy into the stepchild of the embassy to Italy.” He told Allen, “The Holy See is a pivot point for international affairs and a major listening post for the Untied States, and to shoehorn it into an office annex inside another embassy is an insult to American Catholics and to the Vatican.”

I don’t think he is particularly ideological, in any political sense of the word.

He just hates America.

O doubt it since ‘diversity’ is the byword of the ei and Catholics don’t seem to be a part of it. <ore ,uslims are though.
I really believe that the Holy Roman Empire means the Vatican and Catholics which Pope Francis has reawakened...and which obama has declared war on.

Perhaps he is just greedy.
That is a simple explanation anyway for why he continues to do all his fundraising, over and over and over and over again, always pulling in more and more $.

It is a wonder his communist/Islamicist/terrorist/”useful idiot”/AlQuaida/Hezbellah/Hamas/MuslimBrotherhood/Soros coalition hasn’t finally decided to cut down on all his funding yet?
