If words did not have power to control thought, Obama would not have pivoted last week to call his health care plan the Affordable Care Act instead of Obamacare.
The point is well taken. Although the perps refer to this violence as a game, it is deadly serious to its victims. Referring to it as Polar Bear Hunting reveals the true racial nature of the phenomenon.

Good stuff Tom. I'm curious about zero's plan to give the Iranian Mullahs nine billion in spending money(for Christmas gifts to the copts?) and stop looking so close at what they are doing.

this will certainly get Hillary to stop throwing lamps at bubba since her numbers were tanking so bad. And, it won't hurt zeros sagging numbers ether since zerocare was destroying the regime.

Is all this Iranian BS just a diversion? Inquiring minds.....Maybe val/jar and Hillary were behind all this and we just didn't pick up on it? What say you?

ABC News: “Israel and the United States absolutely share the same goal here,” Kerry said. “There is no daylight between us with respect to what we want to achieve, at this point. We both want to make it certain Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon. And Iran cannot be in a place where they can break out and suddenly get that nuclear weapon.

“The deal is the beginning and first step,” he said. “It leads us into the negotiation – so that we guarantee that while we are negotiating for the dismantling, while we are negotiating for the tougher positions, they will not grow their program and their capacity to threaten Israel. Israel will actually gain a larger breathing space in terms of the breakout capacity of Iran. It’s just clear.”

FOX “NEWS” interviews former Gov. Palin

Wallace sets up Gov Palin first by talking about problems
and divisions in DC and then suddenly segues ... to her.

Wallace asks her about ObamaCARE which she says is a
problem, and begins itemzing. Wallace, a long-sweetheart
of Romney and RomneyCARE, says “do you think this is a
tipping point”? Yes, Gov. Palin says as Wallace defends
ObamaCARE/RomneyCARE as he purports that it extends
healthcare to “millions”.

Palin will have none of this nonsense, and says she
“questions those numbers” which have been fabricated
by the Obama regime, and which Wallace and FOX “News”
accepts like the TeamRomney-sheep that they are.

Having none of it, Gov. Palin goes to explain how
actually FEWER American people will now be covered
under “sensibile doctor patient relationships”
(DING DING DING).

Since this clear ‘look behind the curtain’ hits
ObamaCARE/RomneyCARE dead-center,
and because Wallace LOVES ObamaCARE/RomneyCARE
(and Wallace/FOX “News” has conveniently scheduled
Romney’s wife for the special segment during the hour,
timed to be after the interview with Gov. Palin),
Wallace again quickly changes the subject off topic,
and back to DC.

Gov. Palin nimbly goes on to discuss the “rule change”.
and says people at their Thanksgiving tables will talk
not about it, but instead about failed government and
governmental hypocrisy.

This is a great answer ... so again Wallace must change
the subject (he never follows up on conservatives
making a point) and switches to Bashir’s filthy comments
from last week. Grossly, Wallace goes into great detail
about “defication into mouths”. Does Wallace stop there?
Nope. Sickly, on and on, Wallace continues, like a true
TeamRomney member. Wallace continues on, even replaying a
tape of sick comments. Palin responds, clearly explains
the illogical aspect of the smear
(Bashir used the same word),
calls the slanderous statement “vile” and “evil”, and
presents a clear definition of ‘slavery’.

And now the key issue: Gov. Palin points out that the MSM
did nothing about this, thereby condoning it.
Wallace is silent for a bit, but then defends Bashir by
presenting his mustered thin apology,
and Wallace asks Gov. Palin to accept it.

She points out that the MSM has had nothing but hypocrisy,
and that all people accept apologies, and that this one
was made for attention. Gov. Palin says that if Bashir was
really interested in apologizing, he should privately call
Todd or her children first.

Clarice Feldman has an analysis of Reid's filibuster initiative.

She says the Obie will get a couple of wacky libs on lower courts, but won't be able to pack the DC circuit because the house is in no friggn' mood to increase their budget to expand the number of judges.

Secondly, that ugly mood will cause all sorts of trouble; slow playing any nominees, totally refusing to approve a SC nomination should one occur (3/5ths still needed for legislation and SC nominees at this point)

For legislation the house can simply refuse to take up any legislation that has not passed the 3/5th gauntlet.

Finally, the timing is particularly bad, since Dems are looking at losing the senate in short order, short enough that a slow play tactic would nullify most everything.

All in all, its not the end of the world. Still, I love the idea that the Senate is supposed to be a body that gums up the whole works and makes change very slow, deliberate, and supported by more than one party. What's to stop Reid from adopting a simple majority for everything ? Feldman says fear of the bite-back is greater than the short term win.

No apology necessary!,p>
If you think you have bad politicos we have Metro Charlie Crist, Marco-Banda de los Ochos- Rubio, (a little espanola there) and the piece de resistance— Debbie Washerwoaman-hair on fire- Schultz- Berkowitz- imam- mohammed who runs the DNC.
If any apologies are necessary I make them, bowing deeply as I do.

There have been occasional threads this passed year about Iran and the US in secret negotiations. Those reports were rapidly directed toward the trash cans as ‘conspiracy’ nonsense.

Now, we discover that those reports were not so far-fetched, that the US and a few other major nations have been in secret negotiations with Iran.

hmmmmm. I recall similar nonsensical ‘conspiracy’ reports about the US spying on citizens, etc.

==

It is curious that so many of these nonsensical ‘conspiracy’ accusations seem to have more truth than fiction. Many articles of satire turn out have more truth than fiction.

We are truly living in a strange world.

And as you mentioned, Fish, 3/5ths , or 2/3rds requirements are not in the constitution. They are simply rules adopted, long held and obeyed as they may be.

My solution would be to keep a supermajority rule for much of the senate business which could be agreed upon by a simple majority, but not taking affect for 6 years.

FNS

Wallace goes commercial — pushing Ann Romney’s cookbook. That is as bad as Wallace pushing his wife’s cookbook.

Palin nails her interview and stops Wallace a number of times. Her statement of the hypocrisy of the media towards Conservative women vs protected groups was powerful. Stating a couple times that Conservative women are a target of the left is powerful.

She has become the voice of the Conservative movement. Well done.

Exactly! Great points and the deeds supposedly were negotiated by none other than our defacto potus val/jar.
Is this a treaty? Does it have to be voted on by Congress?

Yes, that pivot was actually amusing. They really embraced Obamacare until the website rollout.

Wallace seemed fairly tame to me. I didn’t have any problem with how he conducted the interview—I do know it was chopped a little in the editing.

As for Sarah, I hadn’t seen her in a while and she just gets better all the time, doesn’t she. She’s definitely the straw that stirs the drink. Just the best.

And I’m definitely gonna get the book—I enjoyed her other books immensely.

Also enjoyed seeing Mrs. Romney. What a class act. He married WAY above his grade. In my mind I can hear the late Howard Cosell saying, “Mitt, she’s much too good for you” — with a smile.

WHEN the pubs get back in charge, THEY BETTER NOT CHANGE IT BACK! THAT would be dumb.

They don't call the Republicans the "STUPID" party for nothing.

FNC produced a montage of clips with all the usual Dem suspects referring to ObamaCare, followed by this week's pivot to Affordable Healthcare Act. The finale was Pelosi adding, "I've always called it that."

Lightning bolts would have been apropos.

Sara Palin was such a breath of fresh air this AM. Chris asked her about her Christmas book and she said Christ is the reason for the season. Other expressions referencing the season are OK but December 25 is Christmas. Asked about the filthy remarks of the MSNBC newsreader Bashire, she was accepting of his apology because, as I gathered from her reply, that was the proper response to a person who humbles themselves to deliver such. What Sara did make very clear was that while she can and does take care of herself, hands off of her children and family or there will be hell to pay. It was quite refreshing to see both Sara and Ann Romney today. Beautiful Republican women with beautiful spirits and enthusiasm for God and family. And country. Bless them both.
