You missed my point. I was only stating a simple fact, which is that while IN GENERAL, there is an association between the first three digits of an SSN and the state where it was issued, there is NO NECESSARY ASSOCIATION between those digits and every person to whom those digits were issued.
To say that MOST people have an SSN which corresponds to their state of birth is fine. But to hold up an individual who is an exception to that generalization does not prove anything, other than "here's an exception". It's just a "SO WHAT", because there are LOTS of such individuals. I don't have a clue why Obummer's SSN starts with 042, but that doesn't NECESSARILY say that it's invalid for him.
Understand: I'm certainly not defending him or his SSN -- for all I know it's as illegitimate as a 3-dollar bill. But you can't PROVE that simply because of the first three digits.
Put another way: Do you understand the difference between a generalization and a specific instance which is an exception to the general case? If so, then you must agree that this is at best a circumstantial, statistical case, not a proof of anything specific.

No way am I going to say anything negative about the MRFA, a wonderful organization which includes the SSN information on their site as a way of helping to track down servicepeople. It's a fine reference. But as they themselves state, it's not a guarantee of every individual's SSN, just a generalized guideline and helpful reference.
Feel free to pursue this angle if you wish -- I can't stop you, and wouldn't if I could. But I feel obliged to point out that claiming Obummer is a fake because his SSN starts with 042 is probably not going to bring him down. OTOH, it would probably be a lot more useful to spend that energy and research trying to get his college records. Best of luck and FRegards.

You have an agenda to distract from the FACT that Obama (aka Soetoro/Soebarkah) has been using a CT-issued ‘042’ prefix SSN for several decades even though he was a Hawaii resident with NO CONNECTION to CT.
If the SSN was Illinois-issue, you’d have an easier time. But it’s not, is it?
The only person you’re fooling is yourself. And also whoever compensates you for posting these ‘explanations’ that can’t explain the fact of SSN 042-68-4425 being STOLEN.
