Leticia Van de Putte is “hispanic”? Is her hubby Pete also a “hispanic?”

The Lt Governor for GOP will get bigger vote % than the governor, so they have to be with the grassroots of Texas against tuition for illegals.
The Gubernatorial candidate wants to reform Rick Perry’s tuition rather than full repeal. It is a bad move imo by him. He could lose to a rightwing third party candidate. He should agree to sign whatever the legislature gives to him on tuition. Why dont Dems have an Hispanic at the top of the ticket if it is so important. Only 20% of ballots cast in Texas are by hispanics.

A lot of uninformed people might vote for her because she has a funny name.

Texas Democratic Party chairman Gilberto Hinojosa said he is not worried about attacks from Dewhurst, Staples, Patterson and Staples. We hope Staples is their nominee because he would be the easiest to beat, Hinojosa said. He represents the extremely extreme right wing of the Republican party. The same goes for Dewhurst, Patrick and Patterson, Hinojosa said.
All they represent is the extreme wing of the Republican Party, the tea party voters and thats it, Hinojosa said.
Got that? ALL of the Repubbie nominees represent the "extremely extreme right wing of the Repub party".
Leticia Van de Putte represents mainstream Texas, she represents middle class Texas families
people can relate to that.
Oh, okay...we'll see how Texans relate to *that*.

Abortion Barbie gets a faithful sidekick.
Do they run as a combined slate on the ballot, or elected separately?
