The key is to reason from what the audience DOES know, to what the audience needs to learn about.
Paul on Mars Hill is an excellent prototype here.
Just give someone a burst of church-ese in their face, and no you won’t go anywhere.
But tell them that, say, God loves great sex and His power is reflected in racing cars, and they may listen. Work on one barrier at a time and it goes better.
