I’m so very sorry you lost her, my friend. I know you both loved her so much. What a lovely service that these vets perform! When did this happen? :(
Wednesday morning. We had been nursing her for weeks.....giving her baby food, etc, because she refused to eat anything else. Her kidneys failed and she even stopped eating the baby food. We did not want to watch her starve to death. She would eat but then a half-hour later she would lose all of it. That went on for three days. She had lost almost 50% of her body weight in just a few weeks. We knew that it was time and the attending vet agreed after looking at the regular vet’s report.
