Mitch McConnell goes nuclear

For the most part, Mitch McConnell speaks in typical elected politician jargon. But as the Dems took away his chief legislative weapon, he sounded more like a character from “The Godfather.”

Sen McConnell issues blunt threat: "You will regret this and you may regret it a lot sonner than you think," suggesting 2015 GOP Senate. 10:09 AM - 21 Nov 2013

Snitch and the rest of the liberal GOPe talk a lot of trash but when it comes time to step up and give or take a punch they are headed for the high grass.

After watching the GOP since 2010 if I were obama and Reid I would totally ignore them and do as I please which is exactly what is happening as the GOP is the proverbial paper tiger. Their prescribed reaction to any nut ball democrat plan or idea: come out with outrage, threaten and bluster with what you are going to do, take a symbolic useless vote if possible and then slither away and say we just don’t have the votes...

Words, words and more empty words. Just like what is inside the suit McConnell is wearing.

‘’You will regret this!’’ What’s next from Mitch McConnell, ‘’I’ll huff and I’ll puff and I’ll blow Harry Reid’s house down!’’?

All Mitch McConnell would have to do to make Nuclear Harry regret his action is refuse to negotiate with him, refuse to even speak with him, until he restores the filibuster.

It’s all yours, Mitch. If Harry can’t get you to speak with him, he won’t be able to make you cave in to him as usual, and all the fun and meaning will go out of Harry’s life. Then the filibuster will be restored.

We need to lay off the turtle neck crap. He can’t change his genetics.

That being said, we need to send Mac home, clone Tom Delay, vote him in as a senator, feed him raw meat for a month and then turn him loose. He was at his best in “wartime”. He fought to win and only win.

A lot of bluster from the majority leader. Too bad he doesn’t seem capable of backing it up.

Maybe he will stomp his feet real loud on the Senate floor.

Too bad Mitch won’t be around to see it. Senator Bevin will represent Kentucky well.

My bad. It was a poor take on the word “sonner”. ‘Son, I say son’

LOL....Obviously, the turtle has more character. Nice try, Fox News. Keep this up, and you’ll have as many viewers as MSNBC.

“You meddling kids!”

I don’t trust you to use a 51 vote majority to expel Reid, Mitch. Sorry, but we’re done trusting you.

Bevin will vote to expel the bas7ard without a second thought.

Yep.

I know it won't happen. For some reason, Mitch has been castrated. Probably the NSA or IRS info to Valarie Jarrett.

Sen McConnell issues blunt threat: "You will regret this and you may regret it a lot sonner than you think," suggesting 2015 GOP Senate.

So suppose the GOP takes the Senate in the 2014 elections. Then will McConnell and the Republicans reimpose the 60 vote filibuster for presidential appointments? And if that is his intent then what happens if the Republicans take the White House the following year and the Democrats filibuster every appointmen the president sends to them?
