Being armed is not relly a defense. The numerous videos clearly show the attacks come from concealment (behind) and are so sudden there is no time for reaction
The defense comes in the perp knowing if he fails to get the knockout he might die!!!
Situational awareness is taught by me ad naseum to my kids. If you don’t pay attention to your surroundings you are a victim in waiting.
