I visited Ty Wood's grave site today. It's not the first time I have been there but it is the first time I have taken a photo.
I am at Ft. Rosecrans National Cemetery often and I do not plan to let this brave man's death be forgotten.

I did not know he is buried at Fort Rosecrans. The next time I visit my Dad I will also visit Ty.

What an exceptional resting place for some of this Nation’s beloved patriots? I never go to San Diego without going up to Point Loma.

Thank you for sharing this. Thank you, even more, for visiting the grave of this patriot!

Thank you Tyrone Woods for your Service and Sacrifice.

Yes it does. Rosecrans is almost full. There is a new national cemetery at Miramar.
http://www.cem.va.gov/cems/nchp/miramar.aspI attend funerals for the fallen at one or both every week. We (the PGR) have two services next week for two of the marines killed in the accident at Camp Pendleton last week. Active duty deaths are always the hardest.

I don’t attend the funerals here but we fly a lot of Tx soldiers into my work posthumously.
And we line the streets.
We lost a crew from work the other month in Afghanistan.

God Bless you for doing the PGR.
I was privileged to be invited along on a ride in Maine some years back.
Amazing experience.

Ty Woods' funeral. That's us parked across the street and guarding the gate.

Attending so many funerals is not fun. But these brave warriors did not hesitate to go into battle to defend my freedoms. That considered, I should not hesitate to go through what I have to go through to honor them for having bravely done so.
